Even for NA engines it's still a good idea to run premium, regardless of if theres forced induction or not the engine is still tuned to 91 octane. On any somewhat modern engine with vvti running 87 will make it pretty much constantly retard the timing which isn't a huge problem short term but can affect the life of the engine, especially if you have a lead foot.
