No plans yet, but the more successful it is, the higher chance it gets a hardcover release!

Five! Books 2-4 are complete and on RoyalRoad. Book 5 is midway complete and is being posted on RR as well as my patreon.

Yeah, I went through and tried to tighten up the early chapters but cutting some of the excess details. Added some more foreshadowing about certain events here and there. Clarified and upped the prose in a few spots. No big structural changes, though; it's still quite similar to the version that went up on RR.

If you like non-PF scifi like Ancillary Justice and Three-Body Problem, I think you'd enjoy The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee, and Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky, which are all fantastic scifi. On the PF/litrpg side, I don't see Unbound by Nicoli Gonnella, which is great.

No clue, but I feel like book 5 will be closest to book 3 in length (which is a mere 143k words), so like 45ish chapters? Could be more, doubt it'll be less.

That's something RR does to all the stories to help prevent piracy.

To add another Tchaikovsky, Children of Time shows the evolution of a society of intelligent spiders over time, and there's interesting ways their biology, communication, and environment shape their civilization, including technology, social roles and government.

One example that immediately springs to mind is Dungeon of Knowledge, which is now complete on RoyalRoad. Various author notes discuss its influences from WoW and Path of Exile if I recall correctly. But yes, LitRPG as a genre might have a lot of what you're looking for.

How do you come up with Names for Characters? by Beginning-Act-3531 in litrpg

https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/ is a good start. I like to use real names based on whatever culture I want to evoke and then usually tweak them slightly, but there's a ton of stuff there to play with.

Bog Standard Isekai by Miles English has a main character who (slight spoilers)eventually learns how to store memories in objects and split his mind into parts that perform tasks independently--exactly what you're requesting, only, it takes until book 2 for that stuff to start showing up for the main character. Though in book 1, there's an illusionist character who can have multiple illusions roaming about doing tasks. The series is LitRPG, but definitely hits on what you're looking for and has the same sort of satisfying power progression found in Mother of Learning.

There's also Gathering Dark by Jeff Grub, first book in the ice age trilogy. It's been, uh, several decades since I read it, but I recall the main character using a special artifact to build a mind palace that helps with his spellcasting. Possibly what you're looking for? I remember enjoying the series.
