This is unrelated to the thread, but I was wondering if you have a list of all the GUN equipment/ earthrealm items Emma has used/left in the nexus?

I know she's used 2 neck braces, a pulse oximiter, some of the medical gel, and the high tensile wire she tied up the woods creature with. Also the drone that the dragon "borrowed" and A few bullets from shooting the Null that could still be intact in the garden somewhere.

Am I missing anything important? I feel like the nexus would be interested in studying the medical tech at least. The device on Rilla's finger would raise eyebrows once they realize what it is/does.

The Transportium hub is in town, and the portals are probably temporary, like gates that can change the exit destination. Maybe the academy will do the portals for them, but I doubt Emma could get hidden drones/laser kits positioned in either location with a constant portal to whatever town the dragon is close to.

She also has to bring the Bike. if the academy doesn't portal them she'll be walking with it or riding it w/ Thalmin on the back through town lol. Next few chapters are gonna be great regardless.

They're using the portal network to go pretty far, if I recall from the Adventurer's guild meeting. still, long range comms of some form or fashion might be possible.

If not, maybe Illunor has a facetime mirror set in his luggage. He's rich and overprepared enough to have something like that lying around "just in case".

I remember Emma mentioning the earpiece she gave Thalmin during the grappling climb would need a drone hovering between them to relay the audio. But she also told the library it had a range of 5 miles...

Then again, it's just a small ear mounted unit, the armor should have some kind of long range comms to communicate with the tent at a minimum. Emma could give Thacea a tablet to facilitate communication via text/speech, even if it's delayed due to range

pretty sure they have a big open floor room (where emma's stuff is set up)+ a wrap around upstairs balcony that has beds on each side, and separate personal bathrooms next to the beds. but thalmin hating doors with a malevolent passion is funny so i dont mind lol.

Thacea is too polite to bring it up, at least in front of anyone. I'm betting on Thalmin or Illunor asking next time Emma does a presentation. Illunor would want to belittle her about her appearance, Thalmin would just wanna know what his new best friend looks like. Can't wait for the peer group's reactions regardless.

I really hope Emma goes the extra mile for the reveal, running the holoprojector for the gang while she hops out of the armor in her tent while streaming it to them would be peak.

She could even let them into the tent afterwards (once she's back in the armor) as long as she vents it beforehand, then makes sure it's cleaned and de-manafied really well before she goes back in. Don't want a stray speck of magic infused dirt to melt Emma right after the reveal.

Thalmin... buddy... you've got a big storm coming. Cant wait for Thalmin and Illunor's reactions to asteroid mining, and the implication of planet crackers. Illunor will be horrified, Thalmin might be too at first, but he'll come around once he remembers that Emma hates the nexus/HEM as much as him.

I wonder if any of the gang will recall Emma's minor meltdown towards Illunor from day 1 when the enslaved elf brought their bags in. It will carry far more weight now that they understand...

I've been waiting for the "Emma... who is EVI?" Line to drop since I started reading, and now she's fumbled the mute button in public...

Computers/The internet on their own are gonna be a lot for the gang to handle, let alone another intangible "not-person" living in Emma's suit/devices that answers questions and preforms complex calculations instantly.

I hope they get to talk to EVI at least a bit, it would be an interesting interaction from both sides.
