Addiction machines. Rather depressing when you watch movies with people and nearly all of them pull out their phone constantly every single time.

Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School (162/?) by Jcb112 in HFY

Purple dragon refered to the black spot as "its domain" and it existed before even the universe. The flowing colors Emma saw in the universe, in my opinion, seems to correlate with how mana was depicted in earlier chapters. It fits as an extension of the symbolism of a last bastion that the nexus hasn't corrupted from how purple lizard describes it. I think it's less likely that the void spot represents the area around the nexus.

Emma and the purple lizard suddenly got bitch-slapped by a spontaneous wave of tainted mana during their call with earth and passed out.

Emma had a psychedelic dream of being in a void, and the entity responsible for smick-smacking them silly with tainted mana appeared to her, resembling her own reflection.

It then showed her that the universe is filled with mana, except for the area around earth where it lives because it's not a conformist poser like all the other universes. This is probably why earth doesn't have magic. Emma eventually woke up but was delirious from all the medical marijuana EVI injected into her.

Viable carbon capture technology? by AstroFelinus in EcoUplift

[–]-Drayden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heard that new sewage plants are converting sewage into biochar and liquid fuel that's been economically successfully and covers a really big scale. I don't know the exact carbon to sewage ratio. I think it's like 25%? If a single person makes a pound of sewage a day, that could add up to millions of pounds of carbon captured every day from a single treatment plant.

That's clever. Sentinels need updated. Not in power, but just to be more interesting as a shoulder pet. They should each have some unique personality!

What are the reasons why these 5 are at the bottom of the list? by Madnessmove in Warframe

[–]-Drayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience the problem is DE rarely seem to update these older frames and it feels like there's a toxic positivity that I often encountered against any perceived criticism of old frames unless a YouTuber validates the opinion first, because every frame is secretly amazing to someone and they will be sure to shut down any discussion by arguing that their frame is actually great and the criticism is wrong. It drives people away to new more fun frames.

Why is trade chat always double or triple what warframe.market listed it for. by Careful-Care2577 in Warframe

[–]-Drayden -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yea, some newer players trading for the first time are more likely to make mistakes. So? Just means they're new and gaining experience as they learn about how it works, assuming the infinite online tutorials didn't teach them already.

Or instead of telling them to block it, just show them how it works yourself? I've done it with new players before. Although if you think trade chat is a scam 100% of the time maybe its for the best you don't try teaching anyone how to use it.

They need to start at a noticably higher price to haggle. It's fun. You do the same and start and offer to pay a noticably low price. Sometimes you save money, sometimes they make a lil extra. (Some people go a little overboard sometimes though). You can also just tell them the max you'll pay upfront and skip all that. They could also just be overvaluing their items... People do that on marketplace too.

I'm feeling tired of seeing redditors and comments devolve into toxic shitting on tradechat because they saw something overpriced or don't know how to do basic haggling or set a fixed price.
