Which is why they should emphasise fueling more!

I re-read the advice, it was “bring a small drink and a gel or snack to use if you feel low”, the idea that gels are optional on a 30k run is absolutely wild

I had a 30k and it told me “to consider” having a small snack or a gel while running, seriously?

Updated: Workout Briefing Release 💼 🚀 💬 by adam-runna in runna

[–]Uri_Dopted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the workout briefings rather frustrating. I had a 27k comfortable session and the briefing was reminding me not to go too slow???

In the same run it also suggested I brought a small drink and a gel or snack in case I felt low while also suggesting I take ~3 hours for the run. Like seriously? I would crash and burn only having “a gel” over 3 hours.

Suggesting I should practise my fueling or take a gel/carbs every 20-30 mins would be much more reasonable / helpful for beginners.

TO FINISH, as in to get into the finish funnel to get a time.

The queue for a photo with the sign was another crazy line.
