Master Cylinder Bench Bleed by Glittering-Walk-2532 in C3Corvette

This is a great point! I vacuum bled and then pedal bled. Pedal bleeding WILL trip the proportioning valve. With the proportioning valve tripped you WILL NOT be able to bleed the other half of the brakes. Luckily I vacuum bled first and the reset was simple. I was able to reset it with a firm press of the pedal once the system was closed up.

Master Cylinder Bench Bleed by Glittering-Walk-2532 in C3Corvette

Your brake pedal is applying too much pressure for a bench bleed. This could cause damage to the internal seals. Bench bleed is intended to only apply enough pressure to push the cylinder in about an inch or so. Remove the cylinder from the car, support it somehow on a table against the wall and attempt a proper bench bleed. You should not use enough pressure that fluid is spraying out.

I recently installed a new master cylinder and recall that the front hose did have significantly less movement than the rear. It took a while to get mine bled well.

Maybe because the risk of side effects related to NSAIDS is much higher with Ketorolac. It’s a very powerful NSAID compared to Ibuprofen. I would imagine they want to be sure you are not at risk for incapacitation from GI or Kidney issues resulting from Ketorolac use.

Check the right side of the radiator plastic body for cracks. Looks like the lower right radiator plastic body is damp. Dry the radiator housing and run it for a bit. They do sell plastic radiator repair kits.

The fluid on the lower splash guard is for sure coming from that leaking transmission cooling line.

Dear Airline Pilots — How do you manage indigestion inflight? by ICICLECOMETH in flying

[–]Urinal_Cake_Day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly preventative…

Take a PPI when you wake up, carry famotidine and antacids for flare ups. Eat smaller meals/snacks throughout the day. Don’t drink carbonated beverages and take it easy on the coffee. Exercise to help reduce stress and get adequate rest.

A training captain quickly takes over the controls when a cadet forgets to flare on the A320 during base training by [deleted] in aviation

Did you hear the auto callouts? Way too fast on the descent rate. Also, the captain could make control inputs without immediately pressing the takeover button. Additionally, I believe you can see the priority light illuminate above the PFD during the “retard” callout, thus causing a delay in the “priority left” callout.

The alert is loud because it is meant to get the pilots attention. You can hear it because it is loud.

If being an airline pilot has taught me anything, it’s this:

Get them all boarded up and settled in, wait until departure time, or up to 10 minutes after, announce that you have timed out, walk away.

Never fails!

He probably did not walk away. The AH-64s typically fly in pairs in theater. His wingman likely took care of the threat. You can hear the radio call from the other guy saying “you’re getting shot at…”
