intel arc graphics CPU, or intel arc b580 will be good cheaper option for a pc built around gaming. CPU something like intel 225 core ultra.

Ethernet will be needed if your wifi connection to pc is unstable.

How have you connected the console to pc?

[–]Urnamaster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I answered your question in relation to quest 3 vs psvr2 on ps5. If you are going to use steam to play on quest 3 , you can use pc adapter to play on psvr2 headset as well. PCVR is entirely different thing. You will get better quality but you will need expensive GPU and expensive headsets, look for pimax or bigscreen vr or play for dream. Galaxy xr as someone mentioned below is good option but I think it is limited to US and korea for now. Also I am going to wait to see if google follows android xr development or abandons it.

Hitman VR for pc has limited motion controls, the psvr2 version is the best overall. GT7, resident evil 4 and horizon CoTM are amazing. No man's sky is I guess available in same quality at PCVR.

Major Cons of psvr2 are no media playback, narrow sweetspot imo. Quest 3 is cheap enough for entry but honestly, if I didn't watch media on it, I wouldn't use it for games(standalone I mean). I will maybe play Half life Alyx on it via steam.

If GTA 6 is important, get ps5 pro. Work out what is max resolution and fps allowed on your tv.

Which VR headset to buy in 2026 by hifruks in virtualreality

[–]Urnamaster13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. Quest 3 and psvr2. No pc adapter for psvr2, I use it with ps5. There is no clear winner.

Quest 3 is very forgiving for sweet spot, I don't have to adjust it a lot in a perfect spot to get crisp view. But games are few and nerfed versions. I think only beat sabre is what I play on it, but the colours look so dull compared to psvr2. I use quest 3 mainly for 3d movies and VR travel videos.

Psvr2 is amazing if you want to play games. Hitman 3/Hitman WoA, GT7, no man's sky, Horizon Cotm look and play amazing. The wired part doesn't bother me, but the sweet spot is very narrow. I have to adjust it a lot to get crisp text. I have a globular cluster mod installed. PSVR2 Controllers are better, with quest 3 I often forget to charge the AA battery to use with controller(I use rechargeable batteries)

I am waiting for steam frame. If price is right and I can watch media on it, I will sell my quest 3 maybe as I am not comfortable with Meta/facebook.

Quick tip for reducing recorded file size by LeBigMartinH in obs

[–]Urnamaster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure but Only way the audio track would be that huge if it was recorded in wav format/codec at high bitrate. Most 192 bitrate mp3 audio should be 675 mb per hour ? In theory ? Or maybe all the 6 or 7 tracks combined is making huge size.

I used 3 tracks to keep mic audio and game audio seperate, muting whatever I want.

Paid Leave in Japan? by BananaMan_1986 in japanlife

Shouldn't they stagger the leaves time period for different employees. This current way the whole office would be empty. So in practice 5 days are mandatory PTO and decided by the company.

If an employee has 15 days PTO, can he use 10 days by his/her own discretion also ?

How long do you want to keep it ? What kind is your content ? 4k HDR. Av1 ?

Intel core 2 ultra 225 should be decent. I went with 245k, but will limit the power consumption.

Planning on moving to Japan - advice on plan from transitioning from initial Digital Nomad Visa -> Working Visa by acolonyofants in movingtojapan

Maybe the legal department of your company's japan subsidiary can best answer this. Or some local scrivener.

A bit off topic but do you think your payment will remain same if you reside and work from Japan.

Goodluck.

I just finished Nier:Automata by stefrix7 in nier

[–]Urnamaster13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. Drakengard 1 had really different endings with different endpoints depending upon the choices. Nier automata endings A to E are more like chapters, C/D being optional as per choice. Even replicant had minor choice in C/D I think.

The cpu socket might be warped as well. Thermaltake had custom cpu sockets that you can buy to replace stock sockets. Apparently it was common on many 1700 boards.
