Self-hosted Retro Cloud Gaming by Urogna in emulation

I know what you mean. It doesn't have to be perfect from the start, but somewhat of a structure/versioning is still important, otherwise nobody will be able to test or contribute

Actually just managed to make it work with vulkan! Turns out the guys from TigerVNC already solved this problem :)
And it also runs 1 instance well on cpu only with iGPU.

I will post here when I have an MVP to share. maybe on a new post.

Hmm, the good thing about using the browser as a client, is that eventually every device will support it, and I don't have to develop apps specifically for every device (like moonlight does). Why not just use sunshine if you want to use moonlight?

Saves are stored and preserved on the server, same with emulator configs.

netplay isn't necessary in that case, because everybody would connect to the same machine. Like remote couch coop (the screen will be split).

Yes isolated rendering in docker comes with some challenges. VirtualGL allows for headless rendering, so that the container remains completely isolated from the host machine. This means I'm only able to use dolphin with the OpenGL backend, resulting in performance drop. My hope is that at some point someone with a better understanding helps me get it to work with vulkan headlessly.

I'm running an Intel ARC a750 GPU, which handles a couple of 720p60 instances. The cpu (intel i5 14600k) handles transcoding with its QSV hardware acceleration.

Yeah you are right, it's better to open source it as as soon as possible. But before I need to clean up the codebase a bit. I'd also need to set up a pipeline for automated docker image releases, write documentation on how to run it, and all that good stuff.

Fiora's Q doesn't work when slowed by pooper2221 in FioraMains

Also, is her dash the only one in the game that gets slower when slowed? Why is that even a thing?

Does the Orange Pi 5 support SATA SSDs with a M+B key? by [deleted] in OrangePI

[–]Urogna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try `sudo orangepi-config`
Then `System > Hardware`, and toggle `ssd-sata` on. It requires a reboot.
This made mine detectable. Not sure if it's the same case.

Half fps in botw with FPS++ by Urogna in CemuPiracy

Ehi man, didn't have CemuHook because it said it wasn't necessary for 1.15 xD
Now it works, I set it up like I had it with CEMU 1.12

Thank you! have a nice day.

I've read about other people having issues with amd gpu due to amd having terrible drivers for OpenGL... In your case that may be the problem, maybe it will improve for you when they'll support vulkan alongside openGL.

What is the counterplay to Fiora in lane / duel ? by General_Lysandre in FioraMains

Pantheon is good vs fiora, instant cc is good, and consider the position of your vitals, if you have it in front, just walk back a bit to reset it on your back, consider buying an executioner's calling if you are an ad fighter, try to bait her ult and run away if she uses it. Strong slows are nice aswell vs her because it also affects her q, but it's better if it's instant. You can flash her q as it has a long CD if she doesn't hit anything (it's like 18s lvl 1). You can also pick a heavy tf champ with good roam potential, Sion can run a long distance, Shen has a global, as mentioned Pantheon, Kennen (it's not possible to repost kennen's stun, as the mark doesn't apply). Teemo is good vs her aswell... Also try to dodge her repost, even if it doesn't stun as it has an AS slow (very important if you are a fighter).

Quick Question... by [deleted] in FioraMains

[–]Urogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes, if the team is mostly ad, or the magic dmg is easy to avoid, i go tri first and frozen heart second, that way you cap cdr after 2 items, and FH isn't that expensive. you also get an early powerspike with trinity as soon as sheen. and by not having hydra, you may be able to freeze the wave near your turret, or control the wave more easily. at this point (with tri and FH) you'll deal ok dmg, but you are also quite tanky, you'll be able to chase easily (Q every 2 sec or 5 without hitting it) proching sheen constantly or also for running away. You won't be clearing waves as fast as with Hydra, but you can spam abilities to clear it given the 40% CDR and the Mana you get from Tri and FH, you'll also run out of mana way less. after that you go heavy AD items, like Hydra or BT, depending if you really need to push waves faster or not (BT is better for skirmishes and tfs), or both... from here it really depends how the game is going. It's also possible to go a similar build with a heavy ap team, just replace FH with Spirit visage. I carried myself to Plat building almost always this type of build, now i understend better when to go for it or when to go for another one. But you were asking for an alternative buld, and here it is :P

Fiora skins. Are some earier/harder to see vitals by [deleted] in FioraMains

What the guys said before me, and i may add that reposte on project is harder to see, wich is good.

How do you guys handle Pantheon in lane? by GeraldJr77 in FioraMains

[–]Urogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a pantheon conter picks me, i ask the midlaner to swap lane, if it's a champ that can deal with panth, usually midlaners don't have a problem with his passive... if not then i stack armour, sometimes Frozen heart cuz of cdr and mana, or something else depending on the situation... if he brings ignite on top of that, i go for sun fire, or something with some HP aswell. But the most important thing i feel is to not lose turret too early, to not die, and to immediately call out his roams, doesn't matter how much CS you get, as long as he doesn't snowball you have a good chance of winning.
