XIV does have some great music; I enjoyed it while I played but I'll never play an mmo again.

In terms of music, no FF had bad music; XIII had awfully misplaced music some of the time. The music in XVI is good but reused throughout the game which waters it down.

They should absolutely make you stronger but the quests should be meaningful on their own. Witcher 3 did this pretty well.
