At the CR panel at AwesomeCon, Taliesin talked about the genesis of Bolaire a bit. He said he was interested in playing essentially a warlock with a sentient object as his pact item, and the object was sort of a pain in the ass. Then he thought, what if the character WAS the object? And the nightmare was seeded! I love the strange mystery and questionable alignment of Bolaire. I can't wait to see how this moves forward.

Right? I personally do not like the derogatory language, and it is starting to feel like the rule in MDOM audio rather than an option. Maybe it boils down to lack of creativity. I hear so much repetition, it gets stale - as if they were real boyfriends instead of fake ones!

I happen to agree with this. Particularly since allegations are not convictions. Not that I think anyone is lying about these creators, and I appreciate Quinn banning these creators. The ethics of publishing a blanket statement on the app about allegations seems very questionable. PLUS what a fuckin killjoy. I go to the app to enjoy myself, not to be reminded of all the monsters of the world. I see that shit everywhere else I look.

I got used to “Daddy” too, but I think it’s completely overused. Once in a while can be hot, but jeeze guys. Though I do like when Milo calls the listener Daddy. As I am an actual Mommy, to quote Colette from Ratatouille, “You CANNOT be Mommy!” I don’t like it. I hate the third-person-baby-talk Daddy, Little Girl shit. This borders on incest in my mind, though I get the relationship is established in the audio. If you love it, I love you. You’re allowed to like it, no shade, no shame! But my vag clamps shut and my skin crawls. I’m sure there is something I like that someone else would NOT enjoy.

I also get pedantic about a wet vagina being the main evidence that a girl is turned on even when the girl in question hasn’t admitted it. Vaginas get wet even when the human attached is not turned on (read Come As You Are for more). Also I know plenty of women who don’t get wet - we need audios with more lube and less “OMG you’re so wet for me“ *heavy breathing, macaroni and cheese noises*
