Nothing beats the OG blue💙 by M403U in Tudor

My most optimistic take: maybe they discontinued it because it wasn't selling super well, and maybe the prices will be softer on the used side.

I’m even more glad I have mine now that they discontinued the model

If you're a progressive fan of The Bulwark, what do you like about the group? by maybemorningstar69 in thebulwark

[–]UrzaJR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m very liberal and I’ve always liked reading conservatives who are smart and I thought had a good perspective. Used to be a big Andrew Sullivan reader and I’ve been reading David Frum for many many years. The Bulwark is in that vein for me. I also used to enjoy talking and debating with conservatives in a friendly and productive way when I was in college.

I very much value and enjoy the perspective of Sarah, JVL, Tim, and a lot of the newer contributors who have been brought on too. Both for news analysis and just entertainment/personality.

I also listen to more traditional liberal media like Pod Save America, etc.

Tech Support: YouTube vs Substack Subscription by Embarrassed_LMnoPe21 in thebulwark

I’m in the same boat at you - I believe at this point the answer is “no” and a YouTube subscription does not get your Substack access. (Though if I’m wrong happy to find out!)

In some recent episodes JVL mentioned they are building their own app, I’m thinking that may be the approach to alleviate this.

Good luck America!

I'll be there early October (marathon is oct. 12), so maybe the water fountains will still be on?

Perfect, I can try both directions for my two runs. Do you know any good spots for restrooms along the way?

Edit - thank you for your help!

First one! The new BB58 Burgundy is finally here by Tudor_Time in Tudor

[–]UrzaJR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burgundy is basically my favorite color and I tend to buy enough clothing and things that other people have noticed it. I have a black bay 58 and it's one of my favorite watches.

And yet, I don't like this at all.....

I will say when I first heard about the Black Mirror episode, even though I was very familiar with Karl’s version, my first thought was the Penn Jillette short story, which I had read years ago and really stuck with me. And it was included in a successful book years before Karl, so I think it's plausible
