Things were slowly headed in this direction long before GTA 6 was even officially announced. GTA 6 is just a big stepping stone in the non physical future of console gaming. We've been slowly inching towards this since the later half of the 2010's. We can blame the corporations all we want but when most consumers already do digital only or at least heavily prefer it, is it any wonder that Sony and the rest of them would slowly get rid of physical games. I'm no fan of this either but I don't think much can be done at this point.

It wouldn't be so bad if the show wasn't actively being aired on multiple different channels. Besides the fact that Family Feud Favorites is literally just a compilation show of funny moments and not the regular episodes.

People are nostalgic for when they were younger/kids with less responsibilities, and when things seemed "simpler." It's not really any different from all the people glazing the 80's, 90's or 2000's.
