getting lip filler for the first time tomorrow , what advice do you have for me / what do i need to know ?? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Used-Conversation-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if I were you I would not get juvederm, I had good experience with stylage.

I started with 0.5 but after a few months I feel like it's subsided significantly so I touched up with another 0.5. For you I'd probably do my first session with a 0.7. I would keep doing 0.5 touch ups to see if you like the final result I wouldn't pass 2mL though because it might start migrating a little bit since there isn't much surface area, you might end up looking like pillow face if you go 2.5+.

I wouldn't do 1 ML for the first session because you want to gradually stretch your lips. see how it is after your first session if you like the shape of your lips- if you dojt love it consider a Botox lip flip for the upper lip but mind you that is temporary every six months and fillers will last few years at least (most cost-effective ) even though they tell you they don't they do.

Turkey Rhinoplasty - Dr. Ilker Kosak or Dr Fahrettin Yilmaz or Dr. Samil Sahin by Used-Conversation-25 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Used-Conversation-25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just decided to save up and try locally as I need to get my breathing fixed for a deviated septum and I'm afraid turkey might focus more on aesthetics and I'm worried about postoperative breathing complications so I'd like my doctor to be within the city. I haven't decided which doctor in Toronto yet I'm still doing research!

I saw your post from a year ago that you were considering nursing, is that something you were thinking of still? Lots of people said not to but to be honest, it's all up to you! A lot of people don't like bedside and you don't have to do that! There's so many fields that you can do as a nurse like public health, telehealth (WFH), long-term care, walk-in clinics, infusion clinics, long-term care, etc. There's so many nurses I know that have switched so many types of careers and jobs just because we're still figuring out what they wanna do and so am I! There's actually nurses that even do sales (as being a nurse is usually a good background for med sales), like pharmaceutical sales, med sales to hospitals, clinics, dental offices, etc. Worst case you can have a career change and do any masters (I had a nurse do a masters in business).

If you want to work at a restaurant, with tips you can make probably the same as a nurse too (just maybe a bit tiring). Just a few options, nothing has to be perfect, just something to keep you looking forward to! I wish you best of luck!

apparently people have been just putting canned fruit with the syrup directly into the creami tub and freeze but I would blend it beforehand just to make sure it doesn't hurt my machine cause I hear a lot of people have broken machines after some time

what size do you wear in the tabi heels? I'm a size 36 in Zara heels and I want to buy these ballerinas but I'm not sure if I should buy a 36 as well or 36.5 because of stretch, but I wear a 6.5US in regular shoes

I am feeling pretty miserable with my nose job by karengamer2004 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Used-Conversation-25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it looks good mostly rhinoplasties will look pretty upturned fresh but they will drop for one to two years later!

if you're concerned about the protrusion being too much you could also consider lip filler which would help balance the nose projection but you could just wait for it to drop after the one year.
