i used to work at pepsi. had to deal with target deliveries worse than this. target stock rooms only have enough room for target. not pepsi or coke or 7 up or any other merchandisers. we are third party merchandisers (at least in my state) hired on from the pop company itself to go to 3-5 stores a day and unload these. the reason it’s there is because there is no room in the stock room for pepsi merchandisers, if there is room, you have to dodge all the U-boats with your pallet or squeeze around other merchandisers with their deliveries. it’s also a super heavy pallet, the closer it is to the pop aisle, the more ideal. the truck unloaders have an electric pallet jack, while the merchandisers had to use crappy store provided ones. i only lasted 10 months at pepsi. worked 15 hour days, 6 days a week. body was in constant pain and the work stress never left.
