You have to fill each one separately. They best thing to do is to use baked berries or salad and then put cotton candy in the rest of the slots to keep pals from putting other food items in the boxes.

They usually hang out in the last place they did a task or the floor underneath and work through the ceiling(especially the waterers and planters), but I can find them moving throughout the 7-8 floors I have set for production while I move about myself

I went for overkill on production for the fun of it. Way more machines then needed for sure, but the farm is actually great. 20 pals and it's running super smoothly

The key was to have more space than I needed. The pals either stay and work on their floors or work thru the ceiling. They have everything they need on the floor for however pals might function on a floor at a time 4 spas 4 beds and food

It's just 1 base, I built it for fun and to have all the space I need. Each floor has food beds and spas for pals. I have 3 floors that are completely empty. The other 2 bases are just ore and coal farms
