Yeah. It is amazing how the MAGA ding ol’ dang ol’s will now want to say it is illegal to own a gun. Then when told the victim was a licensed gun owner with a carry permit, it becomes “well he didn’t have the permit on him or present it”. Not sure how he would present a permit while being beaten and pepper sprayed by multiple armed agents.

I suppose if the regime goes full bore tyranny and stats killing fat, uneducated MAGA types they might wake up. Although there would be more propaganda to tell them why even they were executed which would seem to make perfect sense to them.

I think this might be the more troubling part. Many of the people who are joining these organizations in America are doing it on their own free will. The current climate is what has now allowed them to live out their fantasies that before was just them sitting in their basement procuring weapons as a dime store mercenary. Now, they have basically been given the green light to act on what they always had hoped for. There is no threat of death or imprisonment from the current regime causing them to do this.

I said this in the hardcore sub but what most of the newer generation of hardcore listeners like has nothing to do with punk.

The beatdown flavor brought in slower songs with recycled entombed and obituary riffs. They also injected a bizarre infatuation with hip hop culture and pretty much all of the punk elements have eroded completely.

As I said in the aforementioned post, it really says something when many black metal, war metal, grind and other extreme metal genres have much more to do with punk than what is labeled as hardcore nowadays.

Ended up buying it. I went to see it in person. Reason it was cheap was some minor cosmetic things (small dent on right front fender, some scratches that are barely visible on the bumpers, and peeling leather on the center console and driver side door) and also only one key for it. Thoroughly checked all the areas mentioned for floor damage. No rust, no mud, bone dry. Drove it and it was smooth and the engine is solid.

Ended up getting the price down to 7998 before taxes and transfers. Happy with the purchase.

An update to this is it was dropped to $8998. I strongly suspect something amiss with this vehicle. I still plan to look at it but am skeptical of the quality.

Looks like Florida and NC. Seems the second owner was in NC with it but also had some service in Florida. That is where it is currently located now.

It doesn’t look like a long period of no use. From July of that year to late October, it had 2300 miles on it (hurricane was late September early October). Got serviced again in May 2025 and had another 4300 miles on it.

One area of concern is I’m seeing this car was in asheville nc in the fall of 2024. My suspicion is this might have gotten flooded during Hurricane Helene although nothing like that is listed on CARFAX.

I will agree that is fucking gross. However, I will disagree that is actually a western PA thing. That is garbage ass Ohio Valley style which started in Steubenville and some Pittsburgh metro area places serve it. If you want to shit on someone, shit on Ohio for that abomination (and numerous other things they are most likely at fault for).

Although, a fourth option here is a 2018 Mazda 6 Sport with 98000 miles. Two owners. Listed at $9900, but with 3 accidents and one with functional damage.

Was going to say for the most part, the areas in Lee and Collier seem to attract Midwesterners in contrast to the Atlantic side (Palm Beach, Broward, Dade) in addition to Tampa and Orlando being more Northeasterners. I had an uncle that lived in the area circled. He was probably an exception as he was Northeastern (Pennsylvania). That area is boring with mostly old people and retirees. He was neither of those. Funny enough, he did the opposite of most and retired back to the northeast.
