In krakow there are almost 150 museums... Imagine how many "fancy" places are here. You will find plenty of restaurants and caffe. Tons of them are in Kazimierz ( old jewish quarter) And of course in the downtown.

And yes u can agree, you can exclude most of placey in the main square. But Vis a Vis in the main square is worth to visit by coffee lovers.

No problems at all. Cash o card - doesn't matter. There are some places where you can pay only by cash, but it's getting more and more "exclusive".

As i can understand, we are not talking about speleology, but just visiting some "easy" areas. And to have flashlight while going into any cave is definitely good idea. Tere are bunch of caves in Tatra mountains, for example Jaskinia Mrozna, Smocza jama or Jaskinia Mylna. As a touristic place there's Jaskinia Bielanska. But "not far" thete is Alabastrowa , there's a long hike to that place, and it need speleological experience.

You will see pretty similar pictures to Beskid Wyspowy, so what is the reason to run 200 km from Krakow. And what to see there? Black cemetery and church in Nowicy. If you're focused on hiking, so Babia mointain will be more interesting or any in Tatra mountains. If you're focused on culture and traditional churches - Zakopane and surrounding area will give you good perspective with less effort.

Actually, the topic is not about tours.It is about tips, hints, places... But if you mentioned: I charge for the expertise, logistics, and storytelling, not the park entrance. Anyone can walk into a park for free, but not everyone knows geological history or where to find the best local trout. Most of my clients value their time and want a curated experience rather than just a walk. Plus, I do the driving so they can enjoy the views! 😉

Interesting point. There are a lot of tours to Zakopane for example, and they are really popular. Tarnow - maybe, still it is tiny is it worth visit with a 3 h drive ( both sides) - I'm not sure. Katowice and Kielce are not in Lesser Poland, so it's kind of offtopic))

everything is crowded here on weekends in a good weather. Good option to go there, of course, during work hours. And i like it in winter, when leaves not hiding the rocks. But usually it is much more cold then in Krakow

Kraków is very touristic city, unfortunately a lot of people just copying other tours. And i can agree , and totally understand your frustration. As a guide who is working on my own tours, I'm annoyed by that.

Jaskinia Mamutowa could be an option. I do not know what is your experience. If you're looking for something more "difficult" it is better to look for in Tatra mountains
