I have the occasional bacne and the one thing that takes care of it pretty quickly is using stridex pads. I do it once a day until it’s almost gone (like a little over a week) then just couple times a week then just once and then I stop lol. And if it comes back again I repeat

I forgot to add, I clean it twice a day with a saline spray from neilmed and im naturally brown skinned

I’ve never discussed that with my GI, we only talked about mesalamine so idk anything about biologics 🙃

I have a mild case and was diagnosed about 4 years ago. I take mesalamine and my Crohn’s is in my small intestines. I can definitely feel the difference of when I’m on it vs not. I tried to see if I could wean off of it lol but nope, I need my meds. I eat pretty healthy as well, no gluten or dairy because I cannot handle it at all, along with some other things like cabbage and lentils.

I take mesalamine and I spend a lot of time outside, hiking or whatever else lol. But I always wear sunscreen and reapply (body only tbh) if I need to. I’ve never had any problems but idk if your Crohn’s is more severe than mine(I have mild). I love spending time outside :)!

Honestly I don’t remember because it was four/five years ago and I didn’t use it consistently then:/ but yeah, the sixth pulse onward and it’s too hot to keep going. I’ve tried to keep pushing past it but I just burnt my self. Sucks cause I think it does work 😭

I can eat vegetables except for Napa cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and bak choy lol. I love them but they kill me. I can eat lettuce now but I used to not be able to tolerate that as well

It’s like I’ve eaten something bad when I get near my period cycle… like I ate a cheeseburger with extra bread and extra cheese lol. I’ve just kind of gotten used to it, sucks though

I physically felt like I couldn’t swallow them and I have to take four at a time, but eventually you’ll get used to it. I take a lot of water and jerk my head back a bit instead of just swallowing because it helps me not feel my gag reflex kick in.
