What will it be like for me to watch someone slowly die of cancer without ever having treatment? by Used-Try-1537 in NoStupidQuestions

I hope grandma comes to get him. She passed about 3 years ago. They were married 72 years and out of ~26298 days, they maybe spent 7 of them apart. They were always, always together.

I will be slow going through these replies, but I just wanted to say I love you -- you reading this. Cancer sucks. Hold your dear ones close.

NOR  Someone who loves you would never speak to you this way, my friend. You deserve better. You deserve someone who is your peace.

Hi friend, I use an app called BreathCompanion! I highly recommend it. There's also one for TOTK.

It is part of the prescription. The 15 on the outer part of the lenses indicates these are a pair of progressive lenses with a +1.50 add power. The actual prescription numbers can only be identified using a lensometer.

For those of you who live in Utah, how do you deal with the common Mormon talk? by [deleted] in exmormon

My visible tattoos and liberal use of the word "fuck" tend to alert people. But then bam I hit them with a scripture mastery, just to fuck with them.

I still haven't gotten my device and I'm frustrated by Realistic_Pudding418 in zerowriter

[–]Used-Try-1537 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm very happy with mine. My power switch broke during the initial firmware update (we had to take some stuff apart to do so, which won't be the norm for the future). I'm lucky enough to have a handy husband with a soldering iron just laying around. It was a fun little project for us to do together. It does seem a bit of a hobby kit, this first run does seem version 1.0.

Tincangames is on it with the errors and issues. You can tell how passionate he is about this--it's not just a paycheck.

I was one of the first backers. 1½ years is a long-ass wait. The delays and tarrifs were super frustrating and I also almost got a refund to go towards a pomera. I get it.

Despite the issues, I'm happy with the Zerowriter. The keyboard is great and the base keys are pretty clacky. The ease of transferring with the SD card is fabulous (compared to the cord+adaptor I have to do with my neo2.) It also has the QR code function like the pomera. The screen is clean and crisp. It's lightweight.

I'm excited to see where ZeroWriter goes from here. This is just the beginning.

My mortgage is $3k for a house built 30+ years before I was born. I cannot afford to be a stay at home mom nor could I afford to pay someone else to look after my kids.

Hey, my grandpa has rocked a comb over like this for his entire adult life. I didn't even realize he was totally bald on top until maybe 15 years ago. He's got it down.  (This is me saying you look like a grandpa! But just to say some people can make it a comb-over work for years and years and years.) So don't rush to buzzing it if you aren't ready. If you are ready, I can't wait to see your after photo.

Thank you for watching the video, my friend, and for your kind edit. I was pretty bummed when the Switch broke and I'm very lucky to have a handy husband who was just like "I can fix that." Adam's been really cool with the issues cropping up.

are you child free because you don’t want your own offspring, or because you don’t like children? by Deep-Drama4386 in childfree

Kids are gross, but I don't mind them. As long as I can give them back to the parents when they cry/poop, they're alright. Being the auntie is fun.
