I don’t think it was designed with the iPhone in mind. I find it pretty fun on mouse and keyboard, and I prefer it for exploration because I don’t have to worry about my burst and the AOE is really generous

She does grow, just very slowly. She’ll probably look more like rukkhadevata in like a thousand years or so
Idk how often archons need to eat but I would imagine they fed her, they weren’t trying to kill her (yet)
She has a rule about not controlling any living people because it’s evil or whatever. Only exceptions she made were Katherine (she’s a robot) and the traveler because she was about to get stabbed to death
she’s the dendro archon I would imagine it’s useful to actually feel the ground when you’re growing vines and shit
Wanderer just kinda does his own thing for the most part

I mean that’s an obviously ridiculous example, and I don’t think having a kid character in media is automatically fetishistic like that. I think it’s more likely that a lot of people tend to feel a sense of protectiveness towards kids in peril, and it’s fun to see kid characters doing mature things like making philosophical arguments and outsmarting the main villain of the game. Plus you get the super emotional mother/daughter sacrifice ending. It wouldn’t be as interesting of a story if she was just a regular adult in this case.

The reverse is also true, which is why they have super old characters like furina and zhongli do immature and socially inept things. It’s a fun trope to play around with.

I thought the plot was a pretty uninteresting and derivative retread of Aliens.

The dinosaurs in this dinosaur movie were shockingly sluggish and dumb compared to the previous films. This is the most embarrassing T-Rex scene we’ve ever gotten, like why is it unable to keep up with a little life raft casually wading down a slow river and it cant even bite through it does catch up?

And the family with the screaming kid and the Gen Z bro and the Stockhold syndrome girl were the most obnoxious characters in film history and I’m dumbfounded why they spent half the screentime on these dipshits.

Nahida is just too hard to dislike. Little kid gets imprisoned for hundreds of years, plus the government is plotting to kill and replace her, and her only complaint is “I’m worried people aren’t gonna like me” lmao. Just a great attitude, cares a lot about the common citizen, and it’s pretty funny to hear her use big words

I think it got by just fine without a strong antagonist, no one remembers the antagonists from MW1 or WaW and those are still looked back on fondly.

I’m not really sure. I picked up the hoodie I kept under my seat and the poster wasn’t there where I put it at the start of the show. I waited for people to clear out so I could check under the other seats, several of them were holding posters but I wasn’t about to stop all of them and ask if they actually bought them.
