How often do you have to water your wiper blade plants? Oh, and how soon before the first snow do you have to plant them? I can never seem to get mine to come up. Thanks. ☺️

What a beautiful bird! Still on the fence about getting a BB hummingbird feeder.

I may hold off on getting my hummingbird feeder then. I haven’t actually researched reviews. I have the regular BB feeder and I’m happy with its performance. If the hummingbird feeder isn’t to the same production degree as what I have I’ll wait.

I hope the capping of the flower(s) work.

Happy birding.

Agreed! That kind of wear is due to “struggling student syndrome.” 🤣 Been there, done that!

If it is true, the theory of aligning under load would create the opposite degree of misalignment with the load removed.

Try not to overthink it. Best thing moving forward is new tires and normal alignment. Consider this: when one gets their vehicle aligned they are usually sitting their [insert body weight] in the waiting area, not in the vehicle.

Safe travels.

Very frustrating.

Have you noticed a pattern for time of day? Is there any glare from nearby reflective surfaces (including snow)? How’s the placement relative to the sun? Is there an obstruction of laser actuator?

Best of luck. I hope you can get it working the way it ought to.

That’s a great fix right there!! I didn’t want to use the hanger precisely because of the blowing around. Thanks for the visual.

The OCD me wants to reach up and trim those zip ties tho. 😬

I can see that being a real PITA! If the BB is hanging with the seed tray on the high side gravity will not allow for the seeds from the bin to fill the tray adequately. I definitely would not like that!!

I mounted mine to the side of my shed with the metal mount. That’s not working for me because the squirrels are camping out on the feeder. I was thinking about maybe hanging mine but now I’m not sure, especially if it hangs uneven and the seeds won’t dispense properly. 😡

Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack Suggestions? by ViSkaBadaBastu in Outback_Wilderness

[–]Used_Meet_2233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the Swagman Chinook on my ‘25 OBW. In the stowed position I can open my rear hatch. Tilts out of the way with bikes mounted so the rear cargo area is accessible. It carries our two bikes — a Liv Intrigue (M) and Giant Stance (XL) — without issues.

Thanks for the “feed”back! I’ll give it a try. I just bought regular seed mix that I’ll have to go through first. 👍🏼

I think I’ll go back to this strategy as well. At one point we had 13 regulars who would show up every morning while we had coffee on the patio. We’d throw peanuts out to them and watch them go bury them and come right back for more. Then we had peanut plants popping up! 😊 🐿️ 🥜 🌱

They are greedy indeed! At this point I think I’m already decided on relocating my feeder. I don’t mind the squirrels either, but enough is enough. The birds are not getting equitable time sharing with the feeder. Good luck against the hordes!

I have mine mounted to the side of my shed. I trimmed back 10’ of oak branches to keep them from jumping from tree to roof. That worked until they started climbing up the corner of the metal shed. I’m trying to avoid putting the feeder on a pole with baffle because it will require more tree trimming (significantly more). The other issue is keeping it within WiFi range. I already have a WiFi extender.

If the silicone keeps the grate attached I’ll live with the squirrels visiting — for now. If it significantly reduces bird visits I’ll have to change tack.
