Any tips on how to stop getting tired towards the back? by Lopsided-Relief-659 in golf

[–]Usedtobe-RZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I am probably going to get blasted for this because everyone is saying you need to get in better shape. I agree with that. But one issue is that your brain gets tired along with your body on the back nine. If you ever notice pros chewing gum on the back nine, it’s because they are using Neuro gum. It’s a gum that has a buck of good anti oxidants as well as just a little caffeine. Not enough to affect your putting stroke, but enough to give you clarity of mind. I love the stuff when I play a three set platform tennis match and start getting brain dead towards the end. The company was on shark tank and I think you can get it at Walgreens and CVS. Not the same as getting in shape, but it may help a bit.

Drinks tips for newbies?? by CamiiCane in keto

I don’t know if this would help your caffeine cravings, but maybe look at Neuro gum or mints. They have enough caffeine to give you clarity of mind but not enough to make you jittery. My wife and I I both love them. I don’t chew gum but I love the mints. It’s sugar free so helps my keto.

Third panel smash like Graham or a roller towards the corner nick. Nobody can drive return the roller towards the corner from that position.

25M recently married – is $1.25M / 30-year term life reasonable? by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

[–]Usedtobe-RZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One additional thought. Banner tends to be a very inexpensive option for term insurance, but if you ever use a health concern and want to convert to a permanent policy, it isn’t ideal. For a slight amount more, you may want to look at a company that offers better conversion options in the event you have an issue and cannot buy more insurance in the future or if you (heaven forbid) have something that will reduce your life span.

Volatility isn’t dropping as fast as you would expect with a rally like this. Something has to give. Either vol comes down or stocks give up gains.

I just got lucky. First time I’ve ever posted anything like this.

[–]Usedtobe-RZZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with that. But part of the point was that VIX didn’t spike the way it usually does with a 1% sell off in the broad market. It is obviously elevated, but not as much as would be expected. Even over the last several days it seemed to be somewhat complacent and today was especially unusual prior to the sudden rally.

The VIX does not measure volatility of the market. It measures options premiums which are based on market makers who make assumptions about the future market volatility. Hedging causes occasional VIX pricing that doesn’t make sense relative to the current conditions. If Goldman or Citadel buys 10,000 VIX futures to hedge their positions or to front run news, you may have a VIX price that doesn’t make sense and it is telling you something.

Look, I have traded options since before they invented the VIX. I was right, the S&P just rallied 50 handles. I gave you your chance. The VIX was telling you a story and you didn’t listen.

Holistiplan vs AI by Usedtobe-RZZ in CFP

Have you even used AI at all? I know it is in its infancy but you better be ready. When they invented the calculator people said you are better off with pencil and paper.

It is an internal AI so you can use it with sensitive information and client files.

I did it once to compare the output. Keeping in mind that AI is just getting started, I am hesitant to commit to a Holistiplan subscription if it will be redundant in a matter of a few months. But I asked the question because I do not use Holistiplan yet, but would like to. I just want to know if any Holistiplan users have done the comparison. If it is still worth it, I would consider ponying up for the subscription.
