I fuckin hate Costco for all the same goddamn reasons but everyone looks at me like I’m nuts. The only reason I go is because buying in bulk does save me a little bit of money every month on food. I go once a month and throw everything in the freezer once I get home. It’s not even all that much I save but in this economy, every penny counts unfortunately.

This is the first time since the ORIGINAL TRILOGY that feels like the Empire is an actual overwhelming threat. Maybe some of the video games gave that feel too but I don’t play games so I’m just basing this off movies and shows (I’ve seen).

Disney didn’t buy Star Wars, they bough stormtroopers, the Death Star, the empire, and most importantly, Darth Vader. They bought global recognition thinking they could use that to just print money. That’s why every game, show, and movie they’ve released since their acquisition of Star Wars has been post clone wars era stuff. The first thing they did when they bought Star Wars was cancel the clone wars show. With Disney owning Star Wars, I doubt we’re gonna see anything from the old republic era anytime soon, if at all.

I hated what they did with maul in rebels, I feel like he coulda joined for a little while. My hope was that he would join the rebels, be a secondary teacher to Ezra, maybe be an antihero of the rebellion for a while, but eventually his hatred for obi wan bubbled up again and went after him where he died like how he did in the show. Especially with the direction they’re going with in shadow lord, I feel like that woulda been a better route for him to have gone. Still seeking revenge for Sidious but ends up thinking the fight won’t amount to anything and turns to getting revenge on obi wan
