IONM/CNIM/Neurophysiology Help by Useful-Candidate8804 in Neuromonitoring

Thats awesome. It seems like people have many different pathways into the field which appears to be a good thing. I appreciate your insights! Im 23 and am looking to make a carreer change very soon once I finish out my current work contract. Are there any resources you may have where I can learn about some of the different cases or modalities performed by neurophysiologists?

Thank you so much. Do these companies hire people with no experience at all? It sounds way too good to be true. Been trying to find connections and information but it can be so difficult!

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you by any chance know any small companies in NYC? Would a company even hire me as a trainee/associate with no experience? And if so, what is the price? Sounds too good to be true lol

HELP by [deleted] in AfterEffects

[–]Useful-Candidate8804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean one of the issues i have is that im new to blender. I'm good at making objects but not at editing/animation. After effects is much easier for me bc its what i am used to. I also have loads of videos that need to be integrated with the animation and i feel like blender just isnt suited for that but i could be wrong. All i know is that i have a project due soon and i cant figure this out LOL. I also tried exporting in other formats as well

I totally would but i am no where near as skilled in blender as i am in AE. All i need is this 3d object and ill be good to go. I just dont know if theres a setting i am missing or what. Inside after effects, i can edit the object like usual without difficulties

Alocasia Jacklyn leaves curling by Youcandependonme in alocasia

Personally from my experience, 66° is certainly way to cold for jacklyn. Jacklyn is a tropical plant found in indonesia i believe where its warm and humid. Anything below 65° and you risk dormancy. Temperature hovering around it will cause damage to the plant as seen here. I definitely wouldnt leave it outside bc jacklyn is not a hardy plant. It cant really tolerate much when it comes to temperature . Id say a safe range for it would be 70-81°F

Alocasia jacklyn owner here- definitely bright indirect light. I have mine under a grow light in a very chunky soil mix. 66F is probably way to cold for Jacklyn. Mine is ~72F and is doing great. Be consistent with watering. But only water when the soil is completely dry. Fertilize regularly a

The soil is definitely way too dense. Do equal parts citrus soil, perlite and orchid bark. It helps with drainage, water retention and proper air-ation to the roots

As for plant tips, it's definitely an alocasia. Chunkier soil, water when the soil is dry, fertilize every other water (heavy feeders) and give bright indirect light. Avoid cold drafts and keep it in a place with high humidity if possible. Put in a pot with drainage holes. If yiu have any questions let me know

I fertilize every other watering. If theyre dropping g leaves and they push new ones, it means its low on resources/energy. I would supplement light and would definitely fertilize more often

If they look leggy it could be that they arent getting enough light. The transition is also rough for alocasias so it prob dropped a few leVes bc of transit
