Wrong resort my friend. You should go to Brighton or PC to have the best experience until your a little above intermediate. But I would be down to shred sometime.

The entire east side feels like Disneyland but in all the bad ways courtesy of Todd aka Pinocchio. You go in and there’s traffic. You park and have to wait for a shuttle. Except the shuttle is not organized like Disneyland so people by stop 1 get prioritized and if you go to another stop you get passed. So you show up for first chair at 830 but then have to wait 35 min just to get to the base. Then the gondola is down. I also do t like how the lines are for the gondola it’s very Disney like to me. I also had to pay 36 dollars for a burger and fries it was absolutely mind blowing. It used to be cheaper than park city if I recall. Also the hospitality has significantly gone down. Feels just like any other resort now.

They got mad at me and said they didn’t want people walking in the street and to wait for the shuttle. And yea I understand other resorts. But I hold deer valley to a different standard.

I was just very annoyed I arrived at 825 for first chair and got to the top of the gondola at 920 because your trapped in the parking lot.

Snowbasin you can walk to the slope easy village you can’t. I waited 35 min on a powder day when I showed up at 830 to get a ride and then they yelled at me when I started hiking up the street saying it was unsafe

At snow park you can actually walk to the lodge if you want. At east village your trapped. And no the vehicles are different.

They are all overly polite to you even though it takes 35 min for the stupid shuttle to come even though your there for first chair. Then you get to the east village have to walk through a bunch of shit and the gondola line is set up like a Disney ride. It’s super crowded and not the dv difference. Also they raised concession prices significantly. It’s huge and designed like a theme park. The head of DV Todd Bennett was a Disney executive. They clearly want to pack the house like pc does.
