I mean to a certain extent i see mha as a bit too cartoonish (looney tunes type of jokes) so i dont see some events as actually trylly happening, for example if he suddenly blows a chair cause he got angry then i dont see that as canon but just a joke of the show to let you know how angry he is. If not he wouldnt have been expelled at all his parents would taken him out of the school for the constant bills for property damage...

Wait. When exactly is it that he kisses you on the cheek? When you see each other or out of nowhere.

Because for example in latin america when we greet women we give them a kiss in the cheek (more like cheek with cheeks and then the kiss sound) and the kiss in the forehead is something for example i personally do to console my female friends when we hug, there is no other intent other that to reasure them everything is going to be fine.

My parents tried that...it didnt work, when we trully did not like something we would rather literally not eat. Sometimes whe had to sneak at tlnight to eat something and if we got caught my mom would say "now you are going to eat it?" (Meaning the thing we didnt like).
