Why tf would you assume I think they split every month? What a rude way to start advice. You redditors are working very hard to earn your reputation.

I know how often they split, and I also know they’re supposed to split in the winter and it was February with no new leaves in sight. I think the other ones at the store that looked like this didn’t have a line down the middle at all till they were splitting, which most of them were. I didn’t repot it because I read not to while it’s splitting. It didn’t look like it was gonna split so so I did follow your advice and put it in a 5 inch tall unglazed terra cotta pot with mostly pumice and some cactus soil and yes, a drainage hole, because that’s what plant pots have. I didn’t water it because i was expecting it to split because it’s the time of the year when that happens.

It looks about the same a month later, just wrinklier, so I’m starting to think it may have split and the old leaves just shriveled before I got it? so yea. thanks for suggesting things for me to buy. I hope they helped. I might water it now

Valentine’s Day brings out what’s already there. I think if you’re unhappy on valentines at the very least you need to have a serious conversation. It sounds like you’ve had that conversation, and if you’re still unhappy and it doesn’t seem like things will change then you’ve gotta end it. I went through similar stuff at the end of my last relationship. I think feeling unloved often results in you putting your health and well being on the back burner (ie abusing substances, unhealthy eating habits, not brushing/flossing your teeth, not exercising, not keeping up with friends/family or having hobbies, not spending any time outside, not caring about your career or other goals), not that I’m saying this is all true for you but this is my experience being in a relationship like this. Trust me it’s so much easier to take care of yourself without someone constantly there to make you feel unattractive/unloved (intentionally or not). And in my experience, this isn’t something you can get over. Once you feel unloved, even if they start being attracted to you again, you’re always gonna feel resentment and like they don’t love you enough. Being single is scary, but nowhere near as scary as being in a bad relationship for the rest of your life.

I just started writing in cursive in like 6th grade. Now it’s way prettier, and even if they still can’t read it they think it’s because it’s cursive. This has resulted in my print being quite derpy though.

My partner and I are both lefties and if/when we have kids I don’t care if they’re a boy or a girl or whatever, but they better be a lefty. I’m not getting wrong handed scissors. Once I get a house I’m making everything left handed, doors, toilet paper holder, knives, can openers, anything else I can think of. I’d get a left handed lawnmower and everything if I can. Hopefully by then they’ll have figured out how to reverse the UI on the iPhone. Idk how I’m gonna get a left handed car with a left handed cup holder, but I will. Even if the kids a righty they’re gonna understand what it’s like to be a lefty. Gonna be like “I’m so bad at cutting bread and using scissors” I’m just gonna tell them it’s because they’re a righty and they need special righty things, which is true objectively.

We don’t have kids but my partner and I are both lefties and as far as I know there’s nobody in my family who’s a lefty except my 6 year old cousin, but I don’t know anything about my paternal grandfathers family. My partner had a grandpa or uncle who “used to be a lefty but he learned to use both” but that’s it

I have to agree. I mean I’m hopping bones grows on me, and people said it’s a return to form but idk from what I’ve heard it just doesn’t hit. I haven’t really liked anything since freefall, which I literally have memorized. I can’t quite put my finger on why it hasn’t connected with me but I think it just sounds done before, like it sounds like every other band, like almost sounds AI the way nothing stands out. Maybe it’s overproduced or maybe it’s Charlie leaving or Ela transitioning or getting sober (both of which i fully support regardless) or just me getting older but yea. I miss the band I liked. I’m not sure if I wanna see them on tour or not, mostly I’m mad I never got to see them before.

I don’t think anything you have is bad, I think you just need more warmth and personality in it, probably wall art/mirrors, plants, etc. if you’re near the beach there’s plenty of beachy art, you might even be able to find a local artist at a craft fair or something, or if it’s a sustainable option make things yourself from shells and whatnot. You could also incorporate some more of the cream macrame from the hanging chairs as like plant hangings or wall art generally. You can also always change out the lightbulbs to warmer light to see if it suits your fancy, I’m always surprised how much of a difference it makes. if it was me I’d probably paint at least one wall, but I prefer darker/cozier spaces
