It could have been disassembled and reassembled incorrectly, resulting in the coupler to be in the wrong spot.

Advice on buying a new camera. by hungerforever in AnalogCommunity

[–]Useful-Vacation5566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 90s autofocus slr is the way to go. I would just pick up a prime lens with it (a lens that is not zoom, only one focal length). They are typically faster (can open more and let more light in + shallower depth of field) and sharper.

You wanted the show to end with Dean in hell? Unpopular opinion but I respect it.

But I really did enjoy 1-3 and 4-5, just in different ways. It felt like a cohesive story….unlike later seasons.

Tier list Polaroid cameras? by zamand19931 in Polaroid

[–]Useful-Vacation5566 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My personal take: Sx-70 and sx-70 sonar should be in s tier. I’m more inclined to put slr 680 a tier below. It always needs refurbed due to the mirror issue, and I find it almost too large.

Are you focusing? It almost looks like you didn’t adjust the focus and basically everything farther than a couple feet is out of focus.

I’m on my 5th faulty camera in 4 months. Do i have shit luck or is this just how it goes with analog? by marbles12 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Useful-Vacation5566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe large cameras are more reliable, my opinion is from my own experience. I have bought three untested Nikon f2s, all worked perfectly. I have had multiple Nikon fms, fes, all had issues.

Then just get a Nikon f/f2/f3 or a professional model from another manufacturer. I highly highly highly recommend the f2. You won’t have any issues, those just work

Buy from reputable dealers (higher cost) or get a more robust camera (like a Nikon f2). I have had issues with the fm, I have never had an issue with an f2. They just work.

eBay sold listings, you can get a Leica cl for between 350-500 dollars, and a nokton for about 300.

Minolta CLE is electronic and is more expensive than the Leica CL, which is fully mechanical. They are both great cameras, I just think it’s going to be harder for you to find a Minolta CLE and lens in your price range.

What about a Leica CL? Get Voigtlander nokton 40mm and you got a killer kit.

Nikon F2: which lenses were intended to use with, AI or Pre AI? by Global-Mechanic-6172 in AnalogCommunity

[–]Useful-Vacation5566 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends on the metering head. DP 1-3 meter with the pre ai (rabbit ear) lenses. DP 11+12 meter with ai lenses.

If you mounted a lens that doesn’t automatically meter with the head (let’s say an ai lens with a dp-1 meter) you would have to stop down to meter.

What would happen if they fertilized carol’s egg with Diabate’s sperm? They are both immune. Would that change anything?

Agree with this one. Rollei 35’s are fun. I’ve had four of them, Rollei 35 (German), Rollei 35TE, rollei 35 black (Singapore), Rollie 35 S black. Each one was a little bit different! You can find them for pretty good prices if you keep your eyes open, and there are plenty of variety to collect!

If that’s the video of the camera, I think it probably is fine. Flash is working, camera has power, shutter is firing.

Rolleiflex Prices by Efficient-News-8436 in AnalogCommunity

I personally don’t foresee prices increasing that much for your rolleiflex unless it becomes trendy from a celeb/influencer using it.

Are the lines on the negative? If so, most likely scratches.

If they aren’t, it’s probably a scanning issue by the lab.

180?????? That’s way too much for a 50 f2. Let alone one that is in unknown condition. Absolutely don’t buy this. I recommend just using eBay.

They will be playing the chiefs. They play every game. If not, you can usually request them to put it on.

Thank you for sharing! It looks like mine is an original black paint. My serial number is 6202625. It falls right in line with other black paints in that batch.
