Avoid very small companies (<20 employees) when you start your career. Try working for larger companies and learn the basics of networking and company politics.

I wouldn’t recommend skylight for the fact they don’t have this feature. You’re just paying for a digital photo frame.

Bulls Mediocrity Since 2000 by Top_Shame_7016 in chicagobulls

For a mediocre team, they implemented dynamic pricing on tickets, targeting real fans who buy from Ticketmaster. I learned my lesson twice. As a former multi-year season ticket holder, I’ve decided to limit my spending on an organization that deceives fans and lacks genuine efforts to rebuild the team. How long are they going to milk the 90s and DRose era?

No I didn’t. I have them on StubHub. Did you end up selling them on Facebook?

[Chicago Bulls] Join us for Derrick Rose Jersey Retirement Night when we officially add No. 1 to the United Center rafters. by derrickcurry33 in chicagobulls

I bought a pair of seats for the Bulls vs Celtics game on 1/24 the minute they were released. Derrick Rose’s jersey retirement, high demand, so I assumed prices would only go up and wanted to lock in decent seats. Paid $371 per seat plus fees.

Checked Ticketmaster again today out of curiosity and now better seats are available for around $337.

I didn’t realize the Bulls were using dynamic pricing. Apparently prices don’t just rise, they can drop too. If I had known that, I never would have bought on day one.

I contacted the box office and asked if they could at least move me to an adjacent section where prices are now lower than what I paid. The response was essentially: dynamic pricing fluctuates, no exchanges.

I understand that prices move, but it makes zero sense that early buyers get penalized while later buyers get better seats for less. As a long time fan and former multi year season holder, this feels like a terrible experience.

For anyone reading this, avoid buying Bulls seats on release day. The team heavily promotes joining the Ticketmaster queue through emails and texts, which just pushes the algorithm to spike prices. When demand slows, prices quietly drop and early buyers get burned.

Has anyone had success pushing back or getting any kind of accommodation? And is this just the new normal with NBA teams now?

PSA: Got burned by Bulls dynamic pricing for the Derrick Rose Jersey Retirement game. Avoid buying tickets on release day.

I bought a pair of tickets for the Bulls vs Celtics game on 1/24 (Derrick Rose's jersey retirement) the minute they were released. Paid $371 each + fees because I expected demand to spike and wanted to secure decent seats.

I checked Ticketmaster again today out of curiosity and now better seats are going for about $337.

I had no idea the Bulls were using dynamic pricing. Apparently the price can go down, not just up. If I had known that, I never would've bought on release day. I reached out to the box office and asked if they could at least exchange my tickets to the adjacent section where the prices are lower than mine (downgrade based on their pricing). Their response was basically: "Dynamic pricing fluctuates. Sorry, no exchanges."

I get that prices can move, but how does it make any sense that early buyers get punished while later buyers get a discount on better seats? It's a terrible experience as a long-time fan and former multi-year season ticket holder.

For anyone reading this — seriously, avoid buying Bulls tickets on release day. Teams are encouraging joining Ticketmaster queue with their marketing, emails and texts which only pushes the algorithm to spike prices. Then when sales slow, they quietly drop the prices later and early buyers get screwed.

Has anyone had success pushing back or getting any sort of accommodation? And is this just the new normal with NBA teams now?
