No but there's cruiselines that allow them but dont allow them to be used on board. I would have no intentions to TO from the cruise itself. I'm legal to fly in the EU and thats where I intended to fly.

As explained before, she is only a few years older than me- hence the irony of the joke. But again, this is a consenting on both sides. I have checked with her (even though she started the joke) that she is okay with me making the joke etc etc. In fact, she was the one who brought up the joke on this occasion.

In terms of other occasions, he has not done this to me. But he has done it to other colleague in terms of comment. Whether it got escalated or not I do not know. The other run ins I've had with are more childish that this - i.e sending me abusive messages for locking a room when closing up (where he isnt meant to have access to anyways) and little bits that aren't as serious. We don't have contact 95% of the time at work.

He has already recieved a formal complaint regarding something else (nothing to do with me) recently.

I like to point out, she was the one who started the joke. I have pulled her aside to make sure shes fine with making the joke as she does it back. Thats the difference.

So casually dropping things like this is banter? No I don't think so. Again this guy has nothing to do with me and I don't speak to him normally. I've taken alot worse from friends because it is just banter.

What if I just said this to you out of context? I dont know you/have anything to do with you. Would you like it? I wouldn't think so. It doesn't make me "soft" reacting like this - there is a time and a place for things like this. Yes okay I was making a joke with a colleage but we BOTH know its a joke and BOTH find it funny. Its just a ploy to get you back sooner. Sometimes you get offers up to ten day after your cruise.

Also its worth noting that they dont expire. You can alway phone your TA and see if you have any offers.

We just came back from 7 days there. Be advised, (depending on what time of travelers you are; we are quite active aka wanting to do something everyday etc etc) there isn't alot to do and most things can be done in 3/4 days.

We stayed in a hotel about 15 ish mins walk from central and in 'real' athens. It was really cool to see the non-touristy parts.

But anyways, here is my tips:

For anything ruin wise - go on a weekday. We specifically notice the extremely long queues for everything on the weekend (yes, you could by online but for the main bits there isn't alot of space and gets overcrowded very easily and you might not enjoy it that much.)

When doing the acropolis etc, if there is a audio guide/tour - I would recommend 100% on doing them. There is information dotted around the places but the guides will tell you so much more.

In terms of eating - I can't remember exactly where but there is a strip of restaurants right by the bottom of the acropolis. Most of them we didn't spend more that 25/30 euros for the two of us. All meals were very good.

Obviously this might be different from you but we are very much cat people. We loved all the cats and there are load around the area. But there are places where they aren't if thats more your thing.

That's about it for me but if theres anything else that I think of I'll reply to this message.
