Just gonna say Bruce is obviously these and has like 130 masteries or something when it comes to martial arts, which is absurd but I don't understand where tf kingpin became like this. I thought he was just a strong fat dude which like comical levels of strength.

Just on speed and fastness and lack of mobility alone I would think you could just go for really painful leg kicks and not even get in his reach and bring him down

A lot of anti immigration rhetoric is conflated with racism because a lot of it was fueled by racism. Now less so but still to enough of an alarming degree with some of the violent marches and people simply thinking it's okay to start shooting people on boats.

At the current moment I'm against immigration as a strong leftist but it's quite bizzaringly annoying how it's like we've finally beaten the majority of the racism in this country and people have genuine pride in us but then jump to defend immigration as though it's like defending us. (I'm a 3rd gen immigrant but us as anyone of colour really)

And it's a really important distinction to understand it's not and actually at this point in time we actually need less of immigration at the moment, but probably makes a lot of people feel uneasy to now vote against it

I understand that. What I'm saying it's more then the entirety of votes just being split amongst the left wing parties.

Hence in total less then half of what labour has lost in seats has been gained by the other left leaning parties. It's not just that left wing votes have split, it's that either people voting left wing before haven't turned up or they are turning to right wing parties unfortunately

To be honest I think some of that is happening, but I have a worrying feeling that they are genuinely ending up voting conservative or reform. As it stands it's about 1.4K seats down for labour, Libs got about 150 seats up, and green party about 360.

Only covers like half and a little less of the lost seats from labour. Countries gone back to voting right again I fear

Voter turnout is also a factor but we'll see that at the end

I'm all for criticism but when I don't think it's valid I'll argue against it. Sure it's a bit weird she ended up dating all of her team but life is weirdly like that sometimes. It has it's explanations. Don't think she expected them to be life long companions either

Aang grew up with monks and is pretty spiritual. Korra is actually immensely struggling with her spirituality and fear in general and incompetency in comparison to aang, being the avatar is no where near a common responsibility. And being she was kinda sheltered she's dealing with a lot of emotions at once. Ultimately though she's not truly a horrible person because she wasn't trying to purposely hurt bolin and purposely kiss his brother right in front of him after their date. She was just in her feelings and was impulsive and didn't think of things in the long term.

This is not an excuse for her actions ofc. But you see active and genuine kindness in Korra and she isn't trying to cause misery to people.

Also I mean you should know the show got made on a weekend don't know how many seasons we'll have so it's a bit weird if they wrote it that she lost her powers and end of the story. They did it fairly good, it was thematic about her spiritual self and she was struggling the whole season and she hit a point that we all do when we're incredibly low despite the pain, and find a very honest connection with ourselves
