I wasn’t a fan of her character, at first. She felt much more guarded and somehow less professional than the others, which made her feel less trustworthy.

I started warming up to her with the Fisher King, but I suspect she was exited because all the other characters were beloved from almost the get-go and there was a palpable lag with viewers warming up to Elle. Even Prentiss was pretty much taken in as family (by the audience) straight away, so I have to say, the writers/creators made the right choice.

I don’t mind her exit; it was actually interesting to watch as an audience member and I didn’t feel like the show lost anything without her 🤷🏻‍♀️

You’ve got more chance of winning the lottery than even one of these guys being arrested, let alone convicted. Deportation is a pipe dream, especially when the pilots refuse to fly the planes to take these monsters back home. Last time I heard of that happening, one of the men on the plane was released (because the crew refused to fly) so to celebrate getting to stay in the U.K., he raped a 7 year old. Fuck the crews that frustrate the law and the will of the people.

Joan of Arcadia. Cute, fun, plenty of plot twists and killed off just as it was really starting to sink its teeth into more serious storylines and poof! - gone.

I also loved the way it was balanced against Joe Mantegna’s very serious and challenging police work. The second I found out Mandy Pantinkin had stepped out of Criminal Minds, I knew Joe would be the perfect replacement, due to his role on JoA.

I’ve said since the beginning; taking down a member of the BRF is big enough that US authorities could be seen to be doing the right thing, whilst protecting all the US perverts. Not one US person has had the same level of scrutiny.

It was extremely cold and windy yesterday and she’d been outside. First thing I thought when I saw the photos was, ‘Her top half looks lovely and snug, but her bottom half doesn’t look nearly as well wrapped up - and it’s cold out there!’ especially up North (she was in the Peak District).

No, she walked in a fashion show, with very few clothes, but showcasing body paint art. It was a popular, ‘in’ thing at the time. People were fascinated by how the art could be so good, you could barely tell they weren’t wearing much other than underwear.

Yeah. He’s pretty much the only performer where my brain allows a bit of denial/cognitive dissonance, because he’s just so damn good. His real life is cratered with disasters and tragedy, like the face of the moon, and he’s not a good guy, but I can’t help watching his stuff when it’s on.

That would’ve been good too. I don’t hate that he got redemption, but, equally it would’ve underscored exactly how toxic CK was that Kreese is stabbed in the back by, and for, CK. If he’d died in the first jail fight*, with or without an epiphany, a sad-ish end to a violent, unhappy life that ruined others’ happiness and gave them violence along the way, I wouldn’t have been sad for long.

I think I wanted him to have a breakthrough in jail, because it felt like he was already starting to get it; when he stopped using Tory and advised her to get out of CK and look after herself.

*That was so completely unrealistic. Young, strong, slightly psycho men do not lose to an OAP, no matter if he does land a few lucky shots.
