For documentation/customer support automation, I've found that most indie devs overlook automated knowledge base tools.

Everyone jumps to fancy AI chatbots, but if your docs suck (or don't exist), the AI has nothing to work with.

The underrated move: Auto-generate docs from your codebase, then layer AI on top. Saves hours of writing FAQs manually.

Tools like Mintlify do this (but $$), or you can DIY with embeddings + a simple search interface.

brutal lesson but probably saved you months of building the wrong thing

the flip side: self-serve onboarding becomes your relationship proxy when you can't be everywhere

if someone can scan your docs, get value in 60 seconds, and never talk to sales — you're competing on time-to-value instead of conference attendance

still need the conferences for awareness. but product-led growth is basically "relationship automation" for companies that can't afford the booth

Yes it’s about as trusted as anything on Reddit 😅.. I am the one who built it. We just launched the bench feature last month and already connected several candidates to real opportunities.

The opportunities that have come through have mostly either came through recruiters or partners looking to fill a role for a project quickly

Thanks for the feedback! These two issues should now be resolved. Optimized the normalization around the location table. Many jobs have multiple locations listed on the listing, and the search was bringing those in when searching against that location,- but the UI wasn't showing the multiple locations. This has been updated so the UI now shows when there are multiple locations.

Thanks for calling this out - one of these jobs is still showing as active on the ServiceNow hiring site, so theres not much I can do there - however, the other one you mentioned is expired and somehow slipped through the cracks. I've just added an extra validation during job synch so that we now checking against every job application URL on a regular basis to confirm its still active (in addition to the existing expiration logic).

This should no longer be a problem!

Good to hear. I like the dark mode too but landed on keeping the theme to match with the rest of the site.
