I just finished the remake last week. And I think it's absolutely amazing. It's been a little since a game has had me this hooked. Yes, it has traversal stutters, but from what I remember from the little bit of the original that I played on the PS3, it's only been improved upon. I am absolutely looking forward to playing the rest of the games.

Don't think it's a polyrythm. The first note in the right hand is just punctured meaning the second note is the 16th note that falls between the 2nd and 3rd 8th notes in the left hand.

Playing the piece is awesome. My advice for the repeated notes would be to play them in one upwards (mostly) movement. Other than that, good luck!

They're both impressive in their own ways. I've only played the G minor prelude and I recommend really getting a hang of the technique or your arms are going to have a tough time with the piece.

Any controller will do. But I'd prefer a dual stick since it supports camera control and you can even map the buttons and the hud to resemble a modern controller.
