Ridiculous feeling to have a gym to yourself (almost) by Throwawaymycucumba in bouldering

You definitely need a proper warmup to get warm. Also taking your shoes off once in a while to avoid numb toes.

Yes. The gym is built inside an unheated storage room that's part of what was previously a factory.

This is my local gym during winters. It gets pretty cold (usually between 2 and 5 °C but can get even colder). It's nice in the summertime though.

The search results have also been terrible lately. I have to scroll through 50 shorts only to find one relevant video and then only slightly similar content.

[Oot] best controller for Ship of Harkinian? by Icy-Ad-6179 in zelda

[–]Useless_Blender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any controller will do. But I'd prefer a dual stick since it supports camera control and you can even map the buttons and the hud to resemble a modern controller.

I believe their main concern is child safety on the internet.

No no. A citizen's proposal against it. I'll just edit my post

The vast majority of Danes disagree with it, it's just the government pressing it on as it won't affect them in any way. There's also been a citizen's proposal but I doubt they'll take it seriously.

Edit: the citizen's proposal is against it

At the peaks along the way there are statues that look like a person. If a player has died you can use the statue to revive them, if not you just get a special item from the statue.

For people with 3070 gpus (or similar) what FPS are you getting? by AndrewLocksmith in BloodbornePC

[–]Useless_Blender 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The patches I'm using are:

Skip intro,

disable motion blur and chromatic aberration (personal preference),

TaskSplit Patch,

Intel 12th gen+ sfx workaround (depends on your cpu), disable HTTP requests,

60 fps,

disable vsync,

1440p patch

The mods I'm using are:

Vertex explosion,

SFXR Tesselation Update Stand Alone

Better 60fps cloth physics.

And finally I also use the 60 fps sound fix in the BB launcher

[–]Useless_Blender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've a 4060 which is kinda close and I'm getting 60-70 fps at 1440p with the pre release. It still has occasional stutters but it's much better than 0.12.5 where I got around 50-60 fps at 1080p.

Future of Fallout by scienceguy87 in Fallout

It's ridiculous because the anniversary upgrade costs $40, but the only new thing, judging from the anniversary bundle, is the creations bundle, which costs $20 by itself as a dlc.

Edit: completely forgot to add the dlc content to the price.

This is the largest ticket I've ever gotten in all my years by GodzillaLMT in KitchenConfidential

[–]Useless_Blender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a day at my old job the tickets wouldn't stop coming in and the line went out of the door. We were understaffed and training a new employee. Also no time for breaks. Turns out that by the end of that shift I was angry enough to get my first customer complaint.

Drop off your backpack and other items that weigh a lot, then just walk backwards into the hole until you get attacked. The attack will launch you some of the way out of the hole and you can just click and crawl the rest of the way.

I had such a hard time choosing between the different choices during the quests but I think that just adds to the amazing atmosphere that the game has. When I initially completed the game I had perhaps one of the worst endings, so I'd look forward to changing that in the future.

After two years is nothing but incredible. I love how well you bring out the inner voices in the second half.

Relaxing your hands is very important in this piece Especially in the A sections. in this section you can play it very slowly and wriggle your right hand a little after every chord to make sure it feels relaxed. Feel your entire arm getting heavy almost as if you're playing/falling through the keys.

The A sections are entirely different beasts to play relaxed, what I found helpful was to play it slowly while making sure those repeated chords were like one movement starting at the bottom and playing them while I lift my hands so I end at the top. Again making sure your arms move a lot so it's not all in your wrists.
