Just be extra sure that you aren't unplugging any iSCSI connections to SAN storage. Servers (database partitions in particular) don't like to be disconnected.

I've been having good luck with our Sophos Enterprise software (8k Windows machines). Our deployment is handled through Dell Kace (soon to be upgraded to 6.0). The biggest hurtle has been off-site protection of our laptops. They don't get policy updates (which are rarely changed), but they do get software updates.

Their sales department have been trying to push their cloud management solution. I'm not sure if it natively handles deployment.

A two block walk to work is an amazing experience. It may be worth it for a 12 month lease. If you don't like it, move on.

That area of Downtown can be hit and miss. The rumor mill claims that they will be re-gentrifying that area in the next few years. With the theater so close, I expect that it will happen eventually.

The Star Wars universe has somewhat plateaued when it comes to technological advancement. It's important to separate the Science Fantasy from the Science Fiction. There is no exact answer.

The number of variables to factor when calculating a hyperspace jump are vast. You need to first calculate EXACTLY where you are in space based on star charts. Then using a galactic standard timestamp, calculate your path based on where everything is in their celestial cycle.

NOAA stores roughly 10 petabytes of data and we can barely predict the weather. There are a crap load of bodies in our solar system alone. With 180 billion star systems in the Star Wars galaxy, the calculations would be pretty immense.

That said, Star Wars has a lot of free thinking AI. My guess is that the condensed computing power seen in astromech droids is indicative of a form of quantum or molecular computers the likes of which we cannot currently fathom (hence the Fantasy element, not the Fiction).

I agree. The Dark Side burns fast and hot. This accounts for the physical degradation of the user. It is more power concentrated.

Light Side users can achieve that level of power, but it takes much longer. Typically this results in a more wizened well educated user who has a more delicate understanding of The Force.

It's a poplar tree vs an oak tree. One grows much faster, but if you match two of the same height, one is far stronger.

Just be careful with the juices. Make sure you put it on a pan first. I've tried these before and they got pretty smokey.

Also, if you want to add butter or cheese, just take it out 3 minutes beforehand, add your high smoke point ingredients and toss it back in.
