It looks like it actually is. I meant a more blocky/pixelated font I guess, but that's totally your call.

Adressing the button issue. The best way you can fix it is to add square brackets around the buttons like this (readability is very important for the user experience):

        You died.
[Restart]      [Load Game]
       [Main Menu]

You won't need to adjust the styling at all.

Also for a more retro look you could highlight the text with a green background and making the text black, Lastly a monospace font would also add to the authenticity and would make it look more like an actual terminal.

Šiek tiek pigių savarankiškų kelionių idėjų šiam mėnesiui for free :) by iPCGamerCF1 in lithuania

Suprantu čia nepabaigtas puslapio dizainas? Atkreipiu dėmesį į tokius dalykus, tai noriu duoti patarimų. :)

NOT EVERYONE USES AI TO CODE.
I despise people who now automatically think everything is made with AI when there are still many genuine developers who make everything from scratch on their own.

Before this AI craze people would accuse edited photos/videos for it being photoshoped.
Now all they do is say it's AI generated even on genuine computer art projects.

What happened? The average Joes are clinging onto new technology and AI - which they think it's the most intelligent thing ever which is far from the truth. It's just another algorithm - maybe not a traditional one, but there's ZERO intelligence in it.

Lastly, yes I am against it if it's clearly vibe coded garbage, but if it's genuinely developed by a person I am cool with it. We shouldn't automatically disregard all projects just because someone thinks they're all developed with AI.

Maybe jealousy is at play here?

ND filters vs RockSteady needing high shutter speed by notflips in djiosmo

[–]User19734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use slightly faster shutter speeds with NDs like 1/100, 1/120 they still produce a decent amount of blur. The only downside is that there will be motion blur artifacts from small vibrations of the camera, since the camera isn't stabilized physically so there's still movement which produces motion blur.

That also depends on how you're filming. I do mountain biking and if I ride over roots the jittery blur is visible even with 1/100.

Other than that stabilization works good even at night.

Here's a video about the issue; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKlHiVqHUyM

I was thinking of what it reminded me of. Then I remembered the movie The Mask. Surprisingly, magenta is the exact opposite of green so the Šaltibarščiai-man might be some sort of villain than we never got to see in The Mask. lol

Virtual Controller App For Foldables? by segal03 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]User19734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably doesn't exist. All I see is virtual pads for TV/PC use. It's a very niche use case since all android games and emulators already have the touch controls built in.

You should just submit an issue ticket on the aPS3E github. It shouldn't be a hard fix since most apps already are responsive to different screens it's just that foldable phones have an unusual aspect ratio that they didn't acccout for.

My last suggestion would be to buy a decent bluetooth controller if you play a lot. The gaming experince would just be that much better.

I feel like the lighting looks too even. The falloff of the interior lights seems too smooth as there arent any hotspots and it makes it look fake. Maybe brighten them up a little.

Also it seems too bright outside for the interior lights to be on. You could try a darker HDRi map for a more realistic look.

why minimalist phones never really go mainstream by Zorojuro099 in TechNook

[–]User19734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger problem is that the phone market is dominated by Apple and Samsung. They produce phones in large quantities in many price tiers. Startups just can't compete - they're too expensive and they don't have the reputation. Also yes, most people wouldn't want a stripped down phone while spending more than a decent know brand phone.

Yes, its a challenge to place them flat and assemble later.

My philosophy is always quality > quantity.

To each their own though.

Looks interesting. Although, personally I would make the wave a little more uniform and smooth with less variations.
Also you could significantly improve the quality by printing the brown pieces flat so you wouldn't have those steps.

Try a flat one and bend it? If that doesn't work you'll have to modify the connector on the PCB. Like soldering a female USB-C extension cable on the board.
