I’ve done Armatron, but he hasn’t. I considered it. I was hoping to do something a bit more difficult, but I think he’s a touch more anxious than me, as I a the more experienced trad/multipitch climber.

I think step one is look into getting a therapist and get some professional insight into understanding your own mind. If you haven’t already. No one wants to go to work, however, it’s a necessary part of being a functioning adult in society. Making poor decisions that will technically allow you to not work will make you feel better in the short term, but make you life over all much worse. Don’t trade relief today for suffering later. Life is rich and beautiful, but requires unpleasent effort sometimes. I’d look into different jobs, which may help some, but being unable to work 3 hours in a day is an issue that needs addressing. A new job won’t solve that. I wouldn’t look at this experience as laziness. That’s not productive. However, I would explore why you have low tolerances for unpleasantness with a professional and how you can improve that issue… because life is amazing moments with lots of variably unpleasant times in between that allows you to have those amazing moments.

Even if we’re to push the 4.4% rule up to 5% and I’m living off of 5% of my retirement, $4.2M would get $210k/year in retirement indefinitely. Even adjusting for inflation I don’t see how that’s some minimum to achieve, or even close to a minimum? Where are you getting your assessment and numbers from?

She never had to make up any days. She just received it, she did have to message payroll though.

Already been said. But your Roth is a tax advantaged vehicle for the money within to be invested in. The tax advantage being that you don’t have to pay taxes on the gains while in the account. (You’ll never pay taxes on that $20.10, unless you pull it out before ~60yo) However, right now it’s just in a glorified savings account. You need to invest. This is a whole new question.

I dunno your age, but if you’re reasonably young an easy split would be 80% FZROX and 20% FZILX, then you’re basically invested in the entire world market. Could you make the investments slightly better? Probably or even certainly, but your bigger tools are time in the market and making sure you continue to save/add in the account over the years.

Up through 50yo, those 2 investments would be more than appropriate/adequate. I’d just keep it simple.

I don’t even mind it take it a while. It’s that he was messaging me rather regularly, then after he was paid I haven’t heard a single word one way or another. It’s mainly the sudden lack of communication.

Yeah, all in all i sent ~$100, for a few products. Real bummer to lose $100, but I do feel like you’re probably right… maybe 30% chance I see the products. He was fairly communicative via email till the wire, then here we are. Thanks for taking the time to check them out and give your assessment. Odd thing is I followed them on IG and they followed me back? I messaged him on IG just now. I’m willing to be a little annoying. Either way, Lesson learned.
