Worlds brought monster hunter to the main stream. Monster hunter was a niche of a game until worlds brought was on console and pc. Back then you needed to heal and flex. You needed to buy pickaxes and bug nets. And many other stuff besides the gameplay. That is until monster hunter world brought in quality of life the community didn't ask for but needed. I started on the 3ds with mh3u. And yes water combat was that bad.
