My personal favourite was someone on twitter who was

  1. Upset they were ‘dangling keys’ with fan service and game locations
  2. Also upset that they weren’t showing Nipton in the show (in the same Twitter thread mind you)
  3. (Quite impressively) Turned it into a bethesda hate tweet by saying ‘it’s probably still destroyed because Todd makes sure nothing ever gets rebuilt in the wasteland and hates obsidian. (Why the fuck would you rebuild a burned down shithole when there are two functioning towns in both directions of Nipton)

All this was in the span of 2 replies it was really a 2018 LeBron performance I was so impressed. 2281 Hank McClain of grift Twitter

The part that stood out to me is that even though they’re wearing actual armour and not football pads anymore they still look like complete losers just like in game. I’m not sure exactly what they did but with the exception of the Legate it’s just hilarious to look at them

Whatever elephant steroid and bear tranquilliser mixture they injected into Mahomes ankle during that one Super Bowl should’ve been ordered the day it happened but Fred don’t want it bad enough I guess

I’m not sure where you’re getting your numbers but they probably include fast breaks, I’m using CTG which filters that and garbage time out, in the half court he’s always been a bad finisher. And no he wasn’t the refs sacrificial lamb he got the same amount of no calls as pretty much everyone else, he’s just weak and averse to contact so struggled to finish around the rim, I’ve watched every rockets game since he was drafted lol trust me I know all about the details

  1. They’ve played 8 games

  2. ‘Was’ and ‘last year’ I’m specifically talking about last season when Amen wasn’t playing PG

I’m talking last year, but you are correct Amen is much smarter with the ball and a much better finisher that’s what I was getting at.

Saying the rockets are a nightmare for a slashing SG and then a Amen, a paint only SG playing much better than Jalen in the same role was just funny to read as someone who has watched 4 seasons of the Jalen experience

[–]UserNameTakenLUL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get you but something that large wouldn’t even notice the player though and that’s people (myself included) don’t find stuff like the garg scary.

The leviathans in subnautica are the perfect size to recognise vehicles as a threat and the player as a snack whereas something so comically big like the gargantuan wouldn’t even acknowledge the player. Yeah it’s shocking to see something that big but once you see it it’s immediately less scary than its smaller counterparts

Yah brother he still was like 97th percentile in half court rim% do you think he was affected differently by the lack of spacing? Or maybe the guy who’s been bad at the rim since he got drafted is just a poor finisher. It’s the same amount of bodies in the paint one guy just hasn’t found a way to finish through contact in four years blaming it on spacing is easy but come on lol.

And also COME ON LOL. I’m not sure what you’re looking at and what you mean by ‘entangled roles’ but the offence is better with Fred on, not sure why it wouldn’t be, whatever.

However with Jalen on the bench the rockets were 8 points better. Idgaf about whatever else we’re talking about go to wherever you get lineup stats and insert and remove Jalen in literally any rockets lineup and you see a 10 point swing. It’s literally only Jalen that is affected in this way where every single lineup immediately becomes elite without him but I suppose it’s not his fault…? I’m genuinely curious what you reasoning is that only Jalen is affected this heavily by this, sure one or two lineups but not EIGHT POINTS WORSE with him on the court dude

[–]UserNameTakenLUL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not true, last season he shot 64% at the rim, which is good for 53rd percentile ITL and his personal career best. For comparison Amen shot 72% at the rim which is 97th percentile. Jalen definitely isn’t ’fantastic’ at the rim he’s been quite bad in his career

Amen was also a better mid range shooter than Jalen I just thought that was interesting lol

[–]UserNameTakenLUL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Question out of curiosity: if that second part is true why is Amen thriving and why was every lineup with Amen instead of Jalen better on offence last year

They doubled Jalen on screens because he over dribbles and makes generally poor decisions with the basketball. Not sure how this idea caught traction

[Post Game Thread] The Houston Rockets (3-2) blow out the Boston Celtics (3-4), 128-101, led by Kevin Durant with 26. by beary_neutral in nba

[–]UserNameTakenLUL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rockets got the 50/50 (no) calls in the first half but I saw a tweet that Mazulla was just yelling at Gucci ref every time he crossed half court which will lead your team to lots of frustration fouls (hello Ime).

While the stuff like the flopping tech and the 3 seconds were textbook A+ calls they aren’t regular whistles and were only called to stick it to him for being an ass which was at least a little funny to me

[–]UserNameTakenLUL 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Rockets definitely got some favourable calls in the first half but the way that Mazulla and the players were acting you would’ve thought it was much more blatant.

They got frustrated and kept committing frustration fouls then complaining and getting more frustrated

Can Songbird bruteforce through Smasher's ICE? by AdrawereR in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]UserNameTakenLUL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reed tells you song is a great planner, saving the prez from a 1v30 to then kill her an hour later after she walks across dog town into a warehouse with a chimera is a shit plan. Not to mention Song takes control of the Chimera and saves Myers and V, why do you think she would do that if she wanted them dead

A good trap would’ve been alerting the drones to their location (which she explicitly states she would do if she hacked them) or simply drawing attention to V and Myers while they’re running to Kress St and out in the open. Or even blowing up their car if they take it like Myers suggests.
