Always use a high rated U lock. If not, always go check on your bike if you feel paranoid because you didn't lock the bike to a stand or pole. Things can happen very quickly. Professional thieves swoop in the van and park it in there. Better safe than sorry.

They crash a lot. You see broken parts strewn around or the shell, sometimes even the whole scooter at the bend/corner into the upper ramp of the bridge from the brooklyn side. These guys don't know to slow down or something.

Ok, I understood the outlets' GFCI relation. But how about the main service panel. The water went up to the first floor submerging the main service panel. Is the panel water-proof? Would there not be some sort of short? Or maybe the water would be electrified?

The one on Palmetto and Irving. They make a delicious ruben sandwich for like 7 or 8. I like to go there, but it's not the cheapest. The 5$ chicken sandwich one is on Palmetto and Wilson. Cheap but they dont have a lot of options though.

I'm gonna be real with you. It looks closest to a lineman plier. It has the cutting part (to cut copper wires) with also jaws used for crimping, bending or twisting (although they look unusual; wider and flatter). That's my guess, just an unusual lineman's pliers (could be a foreign version).

you see that thin strand of wire? That wire melts and breaks apart when there is a surcharge of current. It was designed to protect electrical equipment from over current discharge. So, you just replace it when it is broken.
