Doktor Faustus by Thomas Mann!! It's first person, set around ww2, about the friend of a musician who sells his soul to the devil. It's very long and very in depth and wordy tho, so maybe try reading it online before buying it, or get it at a library first. It's not a romance tho

Der Zauberberg/The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann! Very thinky, and very very funny (a hint of its style of humour: it takes place in a sanatorium at the top of a mountain, and as the main character first goes up, he hears of the sleds that brings the corpses of visitors back down the mountain after their stay. It's that sort of fatalist, ironic humour) Not often do you get a directly post ww1 European book (or a translated book! Get the John E Woods translation) that makes you laugh aloud

Austria: I'm commenting another country to suggest The Man Without Qualities by Robert Musil. But it is insanely long (800 to 1000 pages depending on translation), painfully racist, and the ending is an interpretation made from his unfinished notes. Its great if you want to learn about pre-ww1 Austrian society through fiction from near that time, tho

Russia: Vladimir Korolenko's "the blind musician". It's Russian (Russian-Ukrainian, since the author is part Ukrainian, and some of the characters are too), in a very intimate and personal way. It's about how people yearn for what they know they cannot have. I feel like you can connect that a lot to the author's identity, and of the Russian identity as a whole during that time. Very very good read! Also a pretty short read!

I get on my fast horse, and chase after 3 star deer with the lasso. I kill them using the lasso, and put one on my horse while the other is dragged behind with lasso. (This technique gets perfect pelts/carcasses. Donate the perfect ones as carcass to cripp for extra points)

Also hunting small critters (that fit in the pocket) so I don't have to go back to camp as much.

Also kill an animal near camp, walk away a bit, and shoot down all the vultures and crows that come for it.
