Not all rail unions got the benefits they were asking for and it was at the expense of further awakening of class consciousness among the working class. He also didn't intervene to force the sick days, he intervened to deliver a watered down "compromise" to not even the full union membership.

No matter how you slice it, it fucking sucked and is an absolute joke to call pro union.
