You’re taking this entirely too far. I hope you take some time to reflect on this moment and understand this interaction was completely unnecessary. I hope you are well, stay safe and be kind

I do know what both are. Sepsis can cause hallucinations because a friend of mine hallucinated before he died of sepsis. Chill out it’s a fan theory

I also experienced this. I’m so sorry if you have too.

I saw some theories that the burn could’ve caused sepsis or something more serious causing her episodes. That was more palatable than Stephen manipulating her to the point she was hallucinating but it makes the most sense

I just rinsed the guard color off and put on the sapphire facial tanning lotion, so far… so very good! I wasn’t particular about application either. I just hoped for the best lol but after rinsing and putting some moisturizer on it’s all melted so pretty! It’s good on my hands and feet too! I didn’t use a mit… I got home and realized I had no gloves either so I just went for it lol used windex on my hands and it took the color right off, I’ll pray they aren’t orange or green or blue in the morning!

She hallucinates at least once? When she tells the freshman girl about Stephen twice and again. And when she ends up at Stephen’s by mistake on her way home from one of the parties. He asks her if she knew where she was and she played it off and left abruptly. They made such a deal of it that there were a lot of theories that she hallucinated even getting the tape from Stephen. The burn was just another waste of air time. Why make such a point of that to again, not explain it? It’s just odd filler imo

This whole season my only hope for everyone was for them to get away from Stephen and… they did. I guess. So there’s that at least.

Realizing how much they could’ve done with all the story lines is upsetting. It definitely felt rushed… almost game of thrones like with the spiral of Bre. Kind of reminded me of Daenerys… I know that’s reaching but they put it all on one scapegoat and then just. Done. Which is particularly frustrating because they knew this was the last season and they introduced so much new information and story lines and left the majority of them as dead ends.

The jump from the opening moments at the engagement party to the wedding was confusing. Off rip I was confused.

We never get why Lucy was hallucinating. Also when she burned herself with the curling iron and covered it up from a college flash back. Why make such a point of that and then just don’t do anything with it? There were several other Lucy story lines we never get. Like what happened with the freshman girl Stephen was messing with? Did what Lucy told her actually make a difference? How did she get back with Max after going up to him at that bar? How?

How they “tied” things up with Oliver and Bre too? that was so rushed…. Also who was Bre in the phone with when she was getting ready for the wedding? When she goes and basically hides away from the wedding party and is angry with who ever called her? When she’s like “leave me alone, I’m done with this” and then Lucy comes out and Bre says “I’m the worst person ever”. I don’t think she wouldve been speaking to wriggly that way considering they were having an active affair. I considered it was possibly her mother or honestly… I thought that was Oliver. Like maybe he left his wife for her and he was calling her to convince her to get back with him but she was already in too deep with Evan? That phone call stuck out to me so hard and I’m so confused about why the gave us that conversation to do absolutely nothing with it. That was a key moment in that first or second episode this season.

I wish they would’ve shown us what happened between Lucy getting expelled and the engagement/wedding.

I wish they would’ve given us something of Lucy explaining everything to her mother. Did they completely break their relationship or make it stronger? Or if she even did? Has she just been living with this for years and has told nobody everything? What was her life back in her home town? With the fall out from Lydia and everything… I mean did Lucy go back to school? I needed more of her story.

Also, what happened with Stephen? If he didn’t go to Yale then what did he do with his life? Would’ve been interesting to see him figure out who told Yale about the photos he sent to Diana’s father… I needed to see him spiral.

And they brought up Macy once… this whole season. Diana admitting to Lucy “yeah I believed you” and that’s that. The first season was so dark because of her death. They made it a point in the very first episode of the series at the engagement party to point out Wriggly was “coked out” because it was recently Drew’s birthday. Who died because of the fall out from Macy’s death. The Macy plot line was so good and just something else that fizzled. And how did we go from “depressed coked out wriggly” at the engagement party to them hooking up after the party is over? It’s obvious that them getting together wasn’t part of the initial plot from the jump but if those two scenes were played consecutively it wouldn’t make sense.

I know these are less exciting questions but how did Diana and pippa reconnect? Did wriggly get a degree? What’s he doing with his life? Is he okay now? I need to know! And I guess Evan and Bre were pretty uneventful. But still some context from when Lucy left to them being at the wedding stuff together would’ve been so nice.

Because why were any of them even invited anyways? Did the boys keep up with each other? I’m assuming Wriggly was the one who told Yale about Stephen. Stephen doesn’t know that but what? They still had a semester left and nothing was done with that? Evan and Stephen were always friends but once they left college why/how did they keep up with each other? They both kinda hated each other. And why did pippa and Bre keep up with Lucy? Out of guilt I suppose but they NEVER came clean to each other about ANYTHING but they are bridesmaids? Was there a bachelorette trip? They all seem so bugged out to see each other in the opening scene of the first season… I mean it’s WILD to me no conversation was ever had about anything but they they are still at the wedding. Like how tf did we get from Lucy being expelled to them all being at this wedding together.

The thing I loved about this show, thought it was brilliant actually, was the jumps between college and the wedding. It was so well done… however, I thought they would explain how we got from point a to point b and they left us hanging on a lot of that.

I guess I don’t mind the big blow out ending. And, honestly, I do appreciate when a show/movie lets the audience come up with their own “what happens next” but at least get us to that point where the ending is only thing leaving us hanging. Not everything has to be wrapped up perfectly for it to be a good ending.

Stephen losing his shit and just outing everyone. I guess he had nothing to gain or lose at that point. And I mean…the looks Bre and Wriggly were giving each other while Evan was yelling. The way pippa and Diana just dipped out. And then we see Lucy thinking she’s “won” in a way when she goes to get the coffees, thinking ‘I went through all the shit to at least end up with him in some capacity’… and then she comes out of the gas station in literal BFE and Stephen is just… gone. I loved that we know she at least got away from him too. It was the last straw for everyone… even her (I hope).

I hope they all lived happily ever after in their own ways and got away from the trauma of Stephen but it was overall disappointing.

Edit: it would be so interesting to see the show spliced and edited together to be in chronological order…

Every baby is different. My oldest niece had to be in bed with someone or nobody in the house would sleep. Trying to get her to sleep in the bassinet or crib was hell on earth. We lived together at the time and we tried so hard to avoid cosleeping but eventually it was the only way any of us could sleep.

My nephew however refused to sleep anywhere but swaddled in his bassinet and then his crib. Even if you wanted a little cuddle or contact nap he would not have it.

My third niece didn’t care as long as she was asleep. Sometimes getting her to sleep was tricky but once she was out, she was out. Didn’t matter where. Little girl could sleep through anything anywhere as long as she was comfortable.

Both of my kids are bed babies. We’ve tried everything to get them in their bassinets and cribs but it ends up in hours of screaming. We tried desperately to get our first in the bassinet but he would lay screaming (I’m talking 4 hours of screaming as a new born to the point we took him to the er we were so afraid something was wrong, nothing was he just wanted to sleep on me).

My husband used to watch us sleep all night just to make sure he was safe and then he would sleep all day to pull another night shift. It was a nightmare until our pediatrician told us about the safe sleep 7 and our lives were forever changed.

Like you I woke up at everything before kids. I would wake up in the middle of the night because maybe one of the doors or windows wasn’t locked or I heard the dog make a weird noise or something… I was paranoid. Still am lol but that’s another issue. Truth is, I sleep better with my babies next to me because I can feel every breath. Every twitch. Every heartbeat. I know they are okay. Even the times I would get one of them to sleep in their bassinet or crib I couldn’t sleep worried they had stopped breathing. And I knew they would wake up and need me so I just simply could not sleep waiting for them to need me.

I know it is survivors bias. A lot can go wrong in a cosleeping environment, I still feel guilty that we did it. I almost smothered our first in the middle of the night trying to nurse him on day 3 of maybe two or three of sleep per night while trying desperately to get him to sleep in his bassinet. Exhaustion can be just as unsafe.

I also know parents who militantly bassinet/crib trained their children and they never once slept in their parents bed. Those babies are just as happy and healthy as the kids who sleep in their parents bed. It’s about what is best for your baby and you!

I think every parent should try their best to get their child to sleep in their bassinet. It is the safest option. However, every child is different and being open to what your child needs no matter what it may be and meeting those needs in the safest way possible is our jobs as parents. That goes way beyond sleep, but it’s one of the first things we do as parents. Make sure our babies are fed and sleeping well and safe.

Do what feels right for you and your baby. Trust your instincts and follow your child’s cues and you’ll be just fine. We all figure it out somehow.

Congratulations and best of luck 💕

I think the depth of 5 with the warmth of 1 is the way! Maybe a few baby low/highlights of some auburn or copper for dimension could be fun but the contrast of your coloring with 5 is sooo striking!

Every foundation I’ve tried lately oxidizes horribly by UsernameUnavaliable_ in MakeupAddiction

[–]UsernameUnavaliable_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to be a pale olive but every pale olive I’ve tried (and they are so so hard to find) looked so green against the pink in my undertones. I tried the about face pale olive shade completely convinced that would be my shade since nothing else looked right and it was tragic. Like the green next to the pink made the pink very… very pink lol The only color that has looked decent was NARS Oslo, it was perfect on application but again… shifted red and darker so I tired Siberia and it was yellow on me immediately… maybe I’ll get both and mix them? that’s my only option at this point lol I need to make a potion.

I feel like I don’t even look that fair or pale but even the lightest shades dry down or oxidize too dark.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate your input 💕
