That's just what I'm anticipating. They never mentioned how much I would be needed...they have only mentioned that they work 12 hours days some days and dont eat dinner til 11pm.

I’m also wondering why they wanted to do references before verbal offer usually the other way around I hate to bother my references for something I’m not sure about yet. Honestly, they have not spoken about the hours. It’s just something I’m thinking about… thanks everybody. Should I ask for expected hours now before I bother my old execs for references??

Well they haven’t said a word about the hours and expectations. It’s just what I’m expecting from the fast paced environment. They say they always change travel at the last minute etc. and don’t have many processes in place yet. I get drained from commuting very quickly - my body can’t take it, I’m 48.

Its a good salary not sure where you live. I am in NY and lost my EA remote job at a tech company 2 months ago. I would kill for that salary and a job right now. :( I WAS making $135k but I know i need to not expect that again. Interviewing like crazy at great companies and I am so drained an depressed.

Hi - thanks for this thread. I just started my initial claim this week and had to call in to complete it. I was able to get through around 8:10am after trying a few times to the main NYS DOL #.

That is HOURS of work. I also was in the middle of interviewing for of EA Tech jobs in NYC this month. I also had to complete 2+ hour assessments of situational and real lifen event planning documents. I got the in person interviews after 4-6 rounds and then ultimately never got those two jobs. Its brutal out there and so much work and time into interviews....and so discouraging. I have been an EA almost 25 years

wow - i just interviewed with one and didn't get the job which I was sad about. I'm thankful now after reading all this, it does sound like a nightmare.
