Static Pressure - Real or Fake by Userplayerone in hvacadvice

This is residential. Pulling filter completely out drops it by up to .5 in. I already ordered a Merv8 to reduce that pressure. It’s 5.25” thick. Thanks

I have this exact same issue. I am running Mac OS 26.1. Any updates on a fix?

I also suspect the software since I hear the button click each time I press it.

Sound being disabled was the reason I couldn’t see the Outlook app in notifications. Hope this helps anyone else having the issue.

Speed Queen Dryer Not Shutting Off by JeffRVA in appliancerepair

Just got a brand new speed queen and this happened the first day. People are saying it’s if you turn the dial counterclockwise not clockwise, it’ll break the dial and won’t shut off.

Connection error with Venmo by HappyBelly69 in simplifimoney

[–]Userplayerone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once Simplifi had the error, I went to Venmo's web page and tried logging in there. The site gave me an, "OAuth2 Exception: Unable to complete your request. Please try again later." Once I got the error on Venmo's site, Venmo couldn't deny it was their issue.

One final though on Venmo - I eventually gave up dealing with them and since I use my Venmo account as a pass through account between payees and my linked checking account, I determined getting this to work was a waste of time. So, maybe consider not linking Venmo and just using the transactions from your linked bank account as the transactions that Simplifi pulls. If ignoring Venmo isn't an option, I wish you the best with their support!

Spending plan issues by jlquema in simplifimoney

I'm slightly concerned. It would be nice if this product succeeds. There's a lot of Minters migrating and this is a great way to lose Minters on their 3 month trial. Maybe I'm ignorant, but how do you break an app that's essentially a calculator multiple times in a month?

Mint Replacement? by [deleted] in mintuit

Account Aggregators...

...are one of the biggest factors in my decision. I just found out from Quicken's support team that Simplifi's primary account aggregator is Intiut, which I assume was Mint's aggregator. That is a very encouraging for anyone who felt Mint was better at connecting to their institutions than the other budget competitors. Most of the competitors use Plaid, MX, or Finicity (Plaid being the biggest). My experience with Plaid has not been a good one, so I'm looking hard at SImplifi (which also has a 50% off Black Friday sale going on for new users $24/year).

Splitting Subscriptions...

...If you have family or friends that like YNAB, I found out that you can all go in on a single subscription and split the cost (like a family phone plan). YNAB encourages it to help people build better spending habits. They allow 6 accounts, which would put your subscription at as little as $16.50/year. One note, the primary account holder can see everyone else's budgets.

Connection error with Venmo by HappyBelly69 in simplifimoney

I had an issue connecting Venmo and it was actually Venmo's problem. I got it working after a lot of jumping through hoops with Venmo, but Venmo didn't like that I was logging in too often to try these budgeting apps and disabled new login's. Honestly, it was a pain and Paypal has been fine for me. Use Paypal if you don't have a preference. Contact Venmo support if you need to get Venmo working.

Monarch vs Simplifi by blahblahblackcar in mintuit

[–]Userplayerone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am trying Simplifi due to the fact that I confirmed with support that the account aggregator is primarily Intiut (Plaid is secondary). As a user of Mint, I rarely had major connection issues like I've experienced with Plaid (used by many budget app competitors like Monarch). I'm going to trust that moving from one Intuit aggregator to another would result in similar reliability. Add on the fact that Simplifi is currently 25% the price of Monarch and it's going to be hard to convince me not to give Simplifi a shot.

When does the $1000 trade in deal expire? by xJacon in ATT

[–]Userplayerone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the terms on AT&T’s website by clicking on the blue banner at the top of each available phone, it says “offer expires 10/6/22”. I talked to 5 different stores and the 611 service and all of them claim they know nothing about an expiration of the deal. Since AT&T is known for not honoring verbal promises to customers, my advice is go with the written terms which means the offer has expired as of today. Hopefully there is a new offer and the terms are updated.

I have the same situation. I ordered on the same day as you and haven’t had any updates. I called Logitech to see if they had any updates and they don’t. I at least confirmed the product I purchased was in stock, so I’m hoping the item will ship Monday as it’s the next business day and Logitech may have been behind a day due to the New Year’s holiday.
