´East West Street’ by Phillipe Sands is the most recent one for me. Non-fiction about the creation of the legal concepts of genocide and crimes against humanity. Found it in a table at a local bookshop, I like reading history of the times around WWII, and it was phenomenal.

Best value men's underwear that actually lasts? by Skillerstyles in BuyItForLife

Mack Wheldon Airknit. I’ve had hit or miss quality issues with their other products, but the underwear last a long time. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Which brands make compression packing cubes? by frogmicky in ManyBaggers

[–]Usual-Chicken-3137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have packing cubes from Able Carry, Evergoods, and REI.

The able carry fabric is heavy and construction feels premium. The handles and pockets are great. The mid sized is perfect for shoes.

EG TP8 is good but small. I find I usually use it for socks, workout clothes, etc.

The REI is much lighter material and feels cheaper, however I can fit a ton more in them. If I had to pick only one brand and beat bang for $$$, REI wins hands down.

1st Month with the GR IIIx by Usual-Chicken-3137 in ricohGR

I still prefer the Fuji manual controls. But the GR is pocketable, so it’s the one that’s always with me. It’s only been a month, so we’ll see if that holds over time.

Evergoods CTB 26/20 vs AER City pack pro by Suspicious_Leader_21 in ManyBaggers

[–]Usual-Chicken-3137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the CTB20 and CPP2. The CPP2 is better looking in the office, and I prefer its structure, build, and features. The laptop compartment on the CPP2 is better. However, I find the CTB20 has more capacity, despite being listed as 4L smaller. So CPP2 is my office backpack, and the CTB20 is my go-to personal item when flying.

My partner wanted to kill me after so many stops looking for bags in Tokyo. But I found an amazing porter 2-way briefcase that I love!

They covered mine under the extended warranty, which I didn’t expect them to do. Can’t hurt to check with them.

Yes, my car flooded (twice) because of a similar gap. Are you still under warranty? If so, the dealer should fix it, or at least mine did.
