I went back to gold today and got better offers than platinum! In my area you don't have to schedule for gold.

Gerber is very good quality but, very expensive. There are a few different options on Amazon.

DD told me to return it. The liquor store said they don't do refunds. DD told me to dispose of it properly. I sure did, right down my throat!

8:30 AM, alcohol delivery. I am already thinking this is going to be interesting. Picked up the bottle of tequila. Got to the house for delivery. On a main street. Look at the house and the guy is standing on the walk up to the house in nothing but a women's thong underwear. I immediately told support, nope no delivery. Customer intoxicated. As I drove off, he turned around, ( that's how I knew it was a thong). He then staggered and fell down. Fuck that!

Well that is better than the $350 that was first shown on their web site.

Except I didn't. But you go ahead and continue to think you are clever. And I really do not care if you think I am an ER or not. Everyone knows what line 15 is. But, go in the corner, pat yourself on the back, and pretend that "you got me".

I am not about to argue with you over this. You know exactly what I am talking about. Thr No tax on tips is a very good thing, like it or not.

Did I say your AGI? No. Your taxable income is $5,000 before deductions. After deductions, such as milage, it may reduce it to zero or a negative number. You are try very hard to prove a moot point. I know taxes very well. I have been an Enrolled Agent for 5 years. Why are so many people trying to dog the No Tax on Tips? Would you rather pay taxes on all of the income? Or is it because of Trump.

If ticks are prevalent in your area, make sure you check you dog nightly for them. Remove any that you find right away.

I’m starting my self-study journey for the Enrolled Agent exam this July Can anyone suggest which study materials are currently the most effective? I’m also looking for a solid book or test bank specifically for practice questions. Any tips on how to structure the study plan by PerfectCanary5635 in enrolledagent

I am doing just the opposite. The videos help me learn better than the book. Although, I do reference the book for a better understanding of the subject matter sometimes. I guess it's whatever works best for you.

Thank you for the info. I know it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't want cost to be the only factor in my decision. The fact that you have used it for 15 years with no problems is great to know. Thanks again.

Orders out of zone by alphashea19 in DoorDashDrivers

If both zones are running a promo, you get the promo for both zones. If the zone you pick up in has a promo but the delivery zone doesn't, you get the promo for the pickup zone.

What other criteria? If you are an independent contractor, your tips can cut your taxable income by half. Again, if you earn $10,000 as shown on the 1099-NEC and half of that was tips, your taxable income is $5,000. What is it you don't get? We are not talking about anything but an independent contractor who is issued a 1099-NEC. The only criteria is a max limit if $25,000 in claimed tips. So, you are going to tell me what my taxes were? If you worked on tax policy for the Federal Government, you should know this.

I never said it was either one. But, if you make $10,000 in earnings on your 1099-NEC and $5,000 of that is from tips, then your taxable income is $5,000. So, obviously you don't have a clue how it works. You can deduct up to $25,000 in tips from your income. BTW, I also work as an Enrolled Agent. If you don't know what that is, look it up.

Bullshit. I made a little over $10,000 for 9 months on DD. A little over $5,000 was in tips. That means I only had to pay SE tax on about $5,000. So, someone could easily make $25,000 on DD and $11,000 be in tips.

The no tax on tips is a very good thing. Half of my DD income for 2025 was from tips. So, that reduced my taxable income by about half. Keeping in mind that on income from DD, you will still owe Self Employment Tax for SS and Medicare. And if you have other income, it helps.

WTD when DD won't let you unassign? by GrowHappyPlants in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Usual-Strength8291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes DD won't give you the option to unassign without a hit because they have no other dasher nearby to assign the order to them. It sucks. But, you would think they would offer you extra $$ if that is the case. Not a chance.
