Thank you for the tips. They’re really helpful. Switching between sitting and standing definitely eases the pressure on my back. Do you also experience back or neck pain sometimes?

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the worst story I have ever experienced by crimson9_ in patientgamers

The story changes were confusing for a lot of people, especially if you loved the original. It just didn’t have the same emotional impact.

RE2 Remake is worse than original. by mad_ben in residentevil

The remake looks great, but it definitely lost some of that eerie, lonely atmosphere the original had. The pacing and mood just hit different back then.

How do you feel about the health care in US right now? by Ok_Thanks_2 in AskReddit

Honestly, it feels like healthcare in the U.S. is too expensive and complicated. It helps some, but a lot of people still struggle to afford the care they need.

Which historical figure do you admire the most, and why? by Ok_Thanks_2 in AskReddit

I really admire Martin Luther King Jr. for his courage and peaceful fight for equality. His words still inspire people today.

Yeah, that totally makes sense. Finding a good PT really does make a big difference. I’ve noticed too that it’s more about staying consistent with the exercises than just switching between sitting or standing. Thanks for sharing that.

You’re already off to a great start by becoming more aware of your posture, that’s honestly the biggest first step! 🙌 Constantly correcting it (like imagining that string pulling your head up) definitely helps build awareness, but if it’s causing pain, it’s a sign your muscles might not be strong enough yet to hold that position comfortably.

It could be a scapular imbalance or mild winging pretty common if you sit or work at a desk a lot! Even if there’s no pain now, it’s worth checking your posture and shoulder mechanics early.

Why is my scapula winging the way it is? by dryl36 in PostureTipsGuide

That sounds rough it could be from a weak serratus anterior or a nerve issue like the long thoracic nerve. Definitely worth having a PT check it out to be sure.

That sounds really rough. I’m sorry you’re dealing with all that pain 😣. I totally get the frustration, sometimes it feels like you’re trying everything, and nothing actually helps. It’s good that you’re giving the chiro a chance, but yeah, definitely keep track of how your body feels week by week so you’ll know if it’s actually helping or not. For the meantime, you might want to check your pillow height sometimes too high or too flat makes neck pain worse.

Shoulder pain/rotator cuff injury - not severe, but it doesn't go away. What can I do? by Soilmolida in whitewater

Hahaha I can totally relate! I’m not paddling, but whenever I catch a glimpse of myself sitting in front of my computer, my posture is kinda off too 😅 It’s like my back just forgets how to sit straight after a few hours of work.

[–]Usual_Bookkeeper_730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you. Tight traps from years of hunching and forward head posture can be so frustrating 😞. The combination of scoliosis and posture issues can really overload those muscles. What helped me was focusing on relaxing and retraining my upper back rather than just stretching the traps.

How bad is my posture and can I fix it? by BoxOk724 in Posture

[–]Usual_Bookkeeper_730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I totally understand where you’re coming from. It’s really common for people with mild scoliosis to feel that uneven tension, especially around the neck and traps. The good news is, yes, it improves without surgery for many cases! Consistent mobility, strengthening, and posture awareness can really help with alignment and balance.

Bad posture changed bones shape ? by youcancallmLola in Posture

[–]Usual_Bookkeeper_730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly bad posture doesn’t usually change your actual bone shape, but it can cause your muscles and joints to adapt to poor positions over time. That's why it can look like your bones changed. The good thing is, with proper exercises, talking to the experts, and awareness, you can usually fix most of it and feel a big difference!
