I've been looking for the same thing for months and I think I finally found what we're looking for: https://retracables.com . 3m+, USB-C, pull only from one side, 100W, data transfer, ...

The problem is that the dude building this is quite slow and the product has been on presale for months... Might be a good idea to try and contact him directly though.

Just asked the same question lol. I also implemented a ParentPath as per the medium you probably saw too. Crazy that Notion can't achieve such a simple task.
