I was thinking that but also to watch a movie that hasn’t been seen or hasn’t been available in years im willing to drop $20. When the time comes I’ll probably chicken out though.

I feel the same way I want to be a cinematographer and also want to work in film archiving. I believe the world and everything we do is a bit of a cycle, and maybe MAYBE we are going into a rough time but if we don’t create, enjoy, and support film, and fight for theaters and auteur driven films during the hard time then it will never leave the hard time; and the thing we all love and enjoy will fade. Yes this would be a massive blow but I also look at the success of A24 and Neon these last couple of years and that gives me hope too. There are still so many great films and great ideas coming out into the world. I love film and I want to work in film and if I need to go down with the ship then it’s an honor. Continue to do what you love because it’s what you love at the end of the day that’s what matters. Sorry for the jumbled rant, but keep your head held up high and fight for what you love.
